First of all, I am 57 and worried this might be "too youthful" for me - but no! This dress is absolutely stunning! I am hourglass shaped, 5'7 155 and wear a size 10 or 12 in a skirt or pants. I thought about getting a large - but at the last moment selected a medium. It fit perfectly! Very forgiving in all the right places - flutter sleeves, tie at the waist for definition (and the waist isn't too high like other dresses on here!), layered ruffles, but not frumpy - the slit makes it feel updated and modern. Some info - yes, it wrinkles, but is very easy to iron using steam setting. I ironed it on the bed at the hotel in 10 mins, no problem. The waist is a little fitted, so you're likely putting this on over your head (just for gals who like to step into a dress). I had no problem with the snap coming open. It is slightly low cut, but you could always layer something underneath to fill in the "v." There is a liner, so if the dress blows open a little, no worries at all, you're covered to just above the knee. I was walking down a boardwalk to the wedding ceremony and had many compliments - I think this dress is really flattering and flows nicely as your walking! The dress is flowy, like the store photos show, BUT not light chiffon, as it may appear - it has some substance to it. I was at an outdoor wedding in a forest where it started at 75 degrees and cooled off in the evening - it was perfect for this event, I threw on a wrap. If it was 90 outside, this dress would be heavy and hot. As for the color - this is the gray blue. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter, depending on the light. I'm getting a few more in different colors! Hope this helps with your decision.

The dress was just as described. It was very pretty and the perfect dress for a summer wedding. It fit well; I went by the size guidelines but also the reviews to get the right fit. The color was nice and very flattering. It was very comfortable, and the weight was perfect. I got many compliments on the dress. My only sort of complaint was that it was hard to get the wrinkles out even after I hung it up for a couple of weeks after I received it. The other thing was that the belt didn't want to stay in place because the fabric is slippery. Other than those two minor things, I love the dress and would recommend it to anyone.

I needed a dress for my child’s wedding that wasn’t too dressy, nor too casual. This dress looked pretty and filled the bill! Being plus sized makes buying clothing online hard! I read the reviews for this dress and decided to order up one size since I’m pretty top heavy. I’m glad I did because it fit me perfectly! I had a very detailed review, but the Amazon flagged it for something saying it didn’t meet community guidelines. This is all they show in the email, and when I hit edit…it’s completely blank 🤬 Wish I could remember everything I said because it was a glowing review with a lot of helpful things I know I as a plus sized woman look for while shopping online. There was nothing against their guidelines but no way to “challenge” their original feedback, so now you’re getting this review instead 🙄 One thing I remember is saying is you might wanna wear control garments under the dress if you have certain bumps you’d like to smooth out. I didn’t, and wish I would’ve had the money to purchase some because it would’ve looked better in pics and it’s something I’m self conscious of.

I wore this to a summer wedding on a humid afternoon in upstate New York, and was fairly comfortable in it. It was a great length and nice and flowy. I noticed the snap at the top kept unsnapping and luckily had a safety pin in my bag. Just a heads up for anyone else who moves around a bunch on the dance floor.

Ok I’ve read several reviews where folks complained about this dress! I bought it in black for my husbands Moms funeral. He actually picked it out himself . So it fits wonderful without being too flimsy. I was actually shocked with how well the dress was made! The material yes holds wrinkles more but it lays perfectly to you and moves every time you do! It just flows naturally. The material is also thick enough you don’t need a slip if ya don’t want one. I wear pantaloons short ones instead anyway with my dresses.Just steam it before ya wear it! I received numerous compliments on the dress. I wore a choker of pearls with a silk black tie closure with the dress. It’s quite long in the back and gives us older ladies the proper coverage in the front without us looking so old! It’s hard finding a beautiful dress as you age without looking frumpy!! So I was really pleased with how it wore, stood up in the heat of summer, and COST!! The cost is always my first thing to look at. It’s worth every Penny! So now I’ve ordered it in the Cobalt!! Don’t take my word for it order try it on and feel the movement for yourself. The button everyone is griping about is a tiny snap! It’s there so your boobs will look good without falling out😎

This dress is very pretty and feels well made, silky soft material. Flattering and elegant all around. I ordered 3 colors, kept the burgundy for a wedding I am attending this winter. My only complaint is the shipping, 2 of then came shipped in the clear plastic only, which could easily rip and ruin the dress. Very tacky of the seller.
