Very nice dress that is flattering on all types of body sizes. I am a curvy 5'8" with a tummy, and a 40C bust that I am very self-conscious about. I did purchase an XL and L and both fit. I chose the smaller one because it felt more flattering to me (less 'baggy' at the top), but I truly could have fit into either one of them. I wore this to the Kentucky Derby and received so many compliments on it. It very classy looking for sure. Note that it is thin and is not lined. Not see through, but a thin material that requires shapewear--unless you have a perfect body with zero rolls. If you have a perky chest, you could wear pasties. If you are middle aged like me with a large chest, you could wear a strapless bra or a racerback bra like I did. Highly recommend. ... show more

Gorgeous dress! I bought this for Mother's Day in a small (I'm 5'4" at 138 lbs, hourglass body shape, and generally wear a 4 in adult women's sizes), and it fits beautifully. The satin has a great weight to it, and the lining adds to the subtle fit and (for me) subtle drama in the way it flows. The tailoring is beautiful. Fresh, flattering, and classy. The 3/4 skirt / dress length is also so wearable and practical. I also really like this fabric pattern, even though I don't typically wear much in the way of floral prints: unexpected and coordinates with the movment of the dress nicely. This dress was gorgeous! I bought it for a wedding. I received so many compliments on the color and the dress. It was super comfortable and so flattering! I loved the a-symmetrical neckline and the mid cafe length. I’m 5’4 and 136 lbs and I bought a size medium. I added the gold belt and wore gold jewelry to elevate the look. Please iron the dress on low/medium heat!!! The shipping wrinkles will come out, and it will lay so nicely! I plan to order it again in a different color for another wedding! I have been telling all of my friends to buy this dress! I even bought it in champagne for my sister to wear to a wedding, and she received a ton of compliments too. Material wise I was impressed it was soft, and felt like good quality for what I paid. Not very stretchy. Had a little flow. The green was little lighter olive green and it is flattering color. Doesn’t see too versatile to me definitely for an event. breathable material and style, but I did not wear it to an event because the cut of the dress was not flattering on my body.
