I finally found a dress that fits and that I love! I am in that middle-of-life stage where my body isn't where I'd like it to be... with my chest and stomach are much larger than usual. I bought an XXL and I usually wear anywhere between an XL, 0, 1X, 2X depending on the cut and the material of the item. This dress fits great. I plan to wear mine on Easter with a tank top underneath and the blouse snap undone and a cute blue jean jacket, that I recently found, with this dress. It is so pretty and it makes me feel pretty to wear it. While there isn't any give in the chest my DD's fit and there is some flexibility in the waist. The slip only goes 3/4 of the way under and the skirt is a bit shear so I plan to wear biker shorts under the dress on a warm day and capri leggings if it is a colder day. Many people would be ok with the slip provided though... I was just raised to wear something under my skirt. It is a great length and the skirt flairs a little and has a ruffle which is flattering too for larger legs and touches. Plenty of room to show off my heels, flats, or boots.... I get to decide. I paid more than the sale going on right now but I don't mind since it is worth what I gave for it. A beautiful dress.

I wore this dress to my sister’s wedding. I felt very pretty and comfortable in it. I am 5’5 and about 215lbs, so the dresses non-stretchy material worried me at first, but I actually had to reorder this dress to size down because my normal XXL was too large on the top. The only downside is I kept stepping on the dress when I would bend down (I had a toddler to wrangle) and the button on the top pulled loose and almost came off, so I was worried I’d flash everyone all night. But it is nice that they include extra buttons. Also, I forgot the wraparound belt at home, so that’s why it’s not on in the picture. I would recommend this dress!

I ended up returning this dress. The clasp on the chest was missing the backing. It was never sown into the dress. Besides that the dress and color were flattering. I did notice the color is a bit darker in person. A dark mauve color.

I got the pink floral dress and it’s just lovely. This is my Easter dress and, with nude heels, it’s going to be perfect. I wear a large in shirts so I ordered the large and it fits great (I weigh approx 148.) It’s a bit long for my 5’2” body but still just fine. I love the sleeves for my flabby arms and the belted waist gives it some shape. It’s really the sweetest dress.
