I bought the skirt to wear for Easter and it was perfect. I am 52 and the length was just right with a flat shoe. It has some good stretch to it so I can move around comfortably.. the material was well-made. It is not see-through. It has a sheer covering over a solid stretchy skirt. I got the mermaid skirt in black mesh, size XXL. I am usually between a size medium/large in most clothing, but I didn't want the skirt to be too tight around the belly/hips, so I got the biggest size and plan to take it in at the waist. You can see in the photos what it currently looks like with the extra material at the waist, and then what it looks like with the extra material pulled back. I washed and dried this by machine, and it turned out fine, but the elastic waist band turned over in the casing; it was easy to fix, and the fact that it's not sewn down inside the casing makes it easier to tighten to take in the waist if you need to. The lining is sewn to the outer mesh fabric all along the side seams which I don't like because it prevents the layers from moving freely, but since the mesh shows any lumps or bumps through it, I suppose that having the seams connected also ensures they stay aligned. The material is just typical polyester mesh and cheap stretch lining. I'm 5'-6" and the skirt is floor length when worn low at the hip, but above the ankle if pulled up to my natural waist. I wish I had chosen a different color because you can't see the draping on the skirt very well in the black.

So comfortable! Perfect for morning when it is still a bit cool out. I’m not sure about warmer weather, but wow, so comfortable. Very fitted, shows your body but has ruching to hide little flaws.

This skirt is so much better then I expected! Really great quality, very flattering shape & very comfortable! I wore it to a dressy (very long) rehearsal dinner & it didn't stretch out or roll down all night & I got a ton of compliments! Amazing for the price!
