The dress is cute but the material doesn’t breathe. The quality is good, not great. The checkered pattern and the straight neckline accentuates the fact that it runs out of square. But I notice that stuff. You may not. When out in the sun, if you perspire at all, the dress starts to cling a bit and feel hot. I only noticed it at the top where it hugs your skin. The rest of the dress is flowing enough to let air flow underneath. If there was no breeze, this may be a bit too warm, for me. I may try wearing a light crop top under it. If this was a linen or cotton blend it would be adorable, and more wearable. I am contemplating just adding a little lace trim at the top to try to hide the pattern being out of square. But for the price, it’s good. I purchased a Medium and a Large, because I was right on the border for bust measurements. I decided to keep the Large, because it fit a little looser, and would allow a bit more air flow.

I returned this dress because it was not flattering. Very large and not flowy, so it gives you no shape. If you are thinking about ordering, I suggest going down a size!

Dress was cheaply made….patterns were not matched and there was no zipper or elastic to make it fit properly.

What turned me off of this dress was the material. It was not what I was expecting and felt like it would be hot in the summer. Dress ran slightly large but not enough to warrant sizing down. It was not sheer.

I absolutely love this dress! It is very “flowy”so sometimes i feel like it looks like it swallows me whole, but it’s still beautiful!
