First of all this dress runs WAY big!!! I’m normally an L/XL, thankfully I looked at reviews before buying so I got a medium. The medium looks and fits LARGER than several other spaghetti strap maxi dresses I have that are XL especially in the top area. If you’re an XL I would say get the medium, if you’re an L I would recommend the medium if you have big breasts, or the small if you have a smaller chest. I looked through all the reviews before buying and I noticed so many people mentioned the top section being way too disproportionately baggy - they’re right. I’m a B cup so I think I’ll have to wear some push up stickies to fill out the top all the way. I would choose your size mostly based on how big your breast size is, the waistband is very stretchy so I would ignore your waist size with this. I was also thinking it was a mid-calf dress, but I’m short so it’s definitely an ankle dress. The only other thing I found annoying is that the adjustable shoulder straps are way too short unless they’re on the longest setting. It’s still a really cute dress though! Just really think about what size you should get based on that top square of crinkled material. ... show more
