This was a heart breaker for my son. It was more than we normally spend on one time use costumes so my son supplemented the extra cost with his own allowance. We noticed it cut in and out of power a couple times when the bettery pack was nudged, so we secured it in a utility vest to keep it still. That did the trick for a short while but then at about 15 minutes into walking the neighborhood it cut out again. This time when I got it to work again the fan started rattling loudly, and kept cutting in and out. My son was despondent when he had to take it off so soon into the night. FIRE HAZARD!!! This started out as a great product that my son loved. However- today when he had it on and started to inflate it- the cord started sparking and smoking WHILE HE WAS WEARING IT. He was wise enough to quickly take it off but it was very scary for him. I’ve attached a picture to show the burned/melted piece. DO NOT BUY!!! ... show more
