Here's his take on it: PakCan Premium Coral Fragging Kit - Complete Coral Propagation and Fragging Set: Great kit for fragging my corals in my 300 gallon and 30 gallon tanks!! Excellent quality tools. Assuming surgical grade stainless steel. Zero rust!!! The kit makes it easy to prune my corals. The bone cutter works very well on my LPS as well as SPS corals. now lets start this off by saying I don't have an underwater camera to show you videos or pictures yet but I'm working on it. I actually use this kit to remove the most stubborn of barnacles off the bottom off my boat and it works really well. I have a boat that stays in the water all year but I live a few hundred miles from the coast so I can't be driving down there every weekend to clean it so I go down every 3 months to clean the bottom off. usually a scraper gets most off them off but the real stubborn big ones I use this kit since I also eat them as well I don't like to destroy them. its very much so like harvesting coral which I also do sometimes in my spare time. I go spear fishing for invasive lion fish and will find dead coral and pull it off the artificial reef we dive at and partially maintain so newer alive coral can have an easier time to attach. its honestly a very small coinvent kit that fits into a small pouch I keep on my dive belt. only thing that I have a problem with is that it came with a scalpel but its a fixed blade scalpel and not one that uses the changeable blades that the kit comes with so I do have to sharpen the scalpel here and there and I plan on putting one that used the interchangeable blades into the kit. when I come out of the water I always rinse it off with fresh water then wash everything in soap and water and use a scrubbing pad on them and everything looks as fresh as the day I bought it even after spending probably over 50 hours at this point submerged in sea water combined with all my dives.

I ordered this kit to help my daughter take care of our saltwater tank. We had a coral that was sick and she’s our resident coral expert so I gave it to her hoping that she’d be able to save it, which she did🤗💜😊. My original intention was to give this to her as a Christmas present but it became necessary a few weeks early, and that’s ok, life happens! It’s a wonderful kit and it was able to meet all her needs, and the coral’s. The tools have a good weight and are nicely balanced. They don’t feel cheap or hollow, and they haven’t rusted either. They come in a sturdy canvas bag that rolls around them for storage. This is an excellent set of tools which at $30 is an incredibly reasonable price. This would make an excellent Christmas gift for a coral enthusiast in your life, or for yourself, if you’re the coral lover! I recommend this, 2 thumbs up 👍.

I’m not sure how others are saying this is stainless steel and not rust proof. I’ve barely used mine and they have rust now. It works and the kit is nice for the price but I can’t be getting rust in my tank. Which defeats the purpose.

I do not frag coral. I actually got this as a gardening/splicing kit. It has a few good items to cut plants and such. It definitely works for what I am using it for and with it being stainless steel, it should last quite awhile.
