My 7 yr old just started taking gymnastics lessons 2 months ago, when santa delivered this she was over the moon! We've been watching videos on youtube to figure out drills for strength building on this and she's even figured out how to do a back hip circle! We really enjoy watching her on this and googling for videos as we are learning the names of these moves! Like casting etc. I weigh in at 210 and it has no problem holding me up, My 7 year old is able to raise and lower the bar all on her own (but she did pinch her finger and get a blood blister once). It looks like it will fold up nice and thin (it hasnt sat idle long enough to warrant us folding this thing up). If you're like us and just getting into gymnastics, pick up some sort of talcum powder. whether its in a sock/ball, a hard piece or loose powder, it really saves their hands, and by day 2 of using this thing, i was ordering some of the gymnastics bar gloves as well.

Bought this one after reading hundreds of reviews and recommendations from many of different variations of this bar set. My 9 year old and my neighbors 7 year old use this bar daily with a solid 4 hours a day estimate. The gussets on the vertical bars is what caught my eye originally and the oversized length keep this thing solidly in place while they swing and spin on this thing. It does take up considerable space and we don’t break it down ever so I can’t speak to the ease of that but it is as good today ( 1 year later) as it was the day of assembly. The only complaint I have is the cross bars spanning the floor but they are solid so I guess that’s also a plus. We put padding in the pockets between the cross bars and then the padding it comes with over the top of them and that has worked perfectly.

My granddaughter loves this gift. The package was heavy and it was clearly marked on the box. When the package was opened, we noticed there was a part that was cracked. We contacted customer service who was very helpful. A replacement part was quickly sent out. We are very happy with this product.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. When putting together I thought I was missing a piece so contacted the company and they quickly responded to check inside one of the bars - sure enough it was in there and was very simple to assemble. Daughter is 9 and loves it. Very sturdy as you can see her hanging upside down. We placed an air mat underneath so she can enjoy without risking a bad fall. Love it and highly recommend!

*I am updating my review from a 2 star to a 4 star because although a part broke and I was outside my return window the seller contacted me after my review and made it right by sending a replacement part. Which is all I wanted, our bar is now usable again. I loved this bar for my kids at first, they are competitive gymnasts at 6 and 8 and they used this almost everyday for the last month. I purchased this for Christmas and put it up the 3rd week of January. My 6 year old is 47 lbs. and my 8 year old is 56 lbs. in less than 2 months this bar had an important part break and since I’m just outside of my return window I can’t get any help. I don’t even want a full replacement all I want is a replacement part so this almost $200 bar is still usable. My husband tried zip typing it for now but it isn’t stable enough to continue using for gymnastics. Very disappointing that this broke so quickly and I’m basically just out my money and my kids can’t do their practice anymore.

My grandchildren love their new bar. It is very durable (although I am a bit concerned that the bars that allow the folding may be vulnerable to breaking...time will tell). That said I did have a problem with one of the knobs and the company responded the same day and replaced the knob quickly. Great customer service.
