Unfortunately a couple quality issues prevented a 5 star review. Once the bar was assembled and in use I can say that I am very happy with the design and functionality. I seems very stable and rigid when used on a thick carpet. My kids are very happy with it. Overall I was very happy with the quality of the design and construction. It would have taken about an hour to assemble it except one of the holes was drilled off center (see photo). This prevented the holes for the disassembly pin from lining up. So I had to take the part to my workshop and elongate the hole so that it was over the center of the tube. If someone didn't have the tools to do this they would have had to return the part to the manufacturer. This issue added about half an hour to the assembly process. Except for the issue with the off-center hole I think this is a great product and a really good value for the price.

I got the 8 foot base gymnastics bar because I read the reviews that said the unit wobbled when their child did tricks on them. Glad I did. Doesn’t solve the problem but sure did look a lot better when being used than in review videos I watched. I got the purple one which in my opinion is more like hot pink, but is a beautiful color. It is easy to assemble once you Google videos on how to assemble it. The instructions in the box are pretty much useless. It is a good quality bar and a very beautiful unit. The only thing that I would improve on it is that the bolts that go in on the bottom are pretty sharp so if you point them in to where they would be underneath your mat you lay over top they would shred your mat, so we have them pointing out and plan to buy rubber caps to put on them. The unit does fold up nicely and is easily tucked in the corner so it doesn’t take up a huge area. Good buy.

I can’t speak to the sturdiness yet we haven’t had it long enough. My 5 year olds been begging for this since November, and she hasn’t been disappointed yet. I’ve attached the directions for anyone curious. All the parts were included I checked first. The exterior of the package wasn’t perfect but it was well packaged inside so no damage to the bar. I’m not as happy as I expected to be with the actual supposed wood piece of the bar it could be smoother but time will tell

Bolt and pin holes do not line up. Bought this as a gift from the big guy. So putting it together Christmas Eve night for Christmas morning took forever because the bolts would not go in. Couldn’t use a hammer (you should not have to use a hammer) because the kids were asleep. So little girl could not use it first thing because 2 bolts and 2 pins would not go all the way through. Once it was together though seems pretty sturdy.

My daughter really loves this bar. At first she didn’t know how to jump up and flip around the bar but now she doesn’t have a problem. She’s definitely learning a lot of techniques at an amateur level. She is 8 yrs old and we bought it for her birthday. Apparatus is very sturdy , easy to tuck away and move around the house. Also loving the teal color.

I got this for my kids because we can’t go to camp this summer. (Covid-19) In order for them to get some exercise, we have our gymnastic coach come to our house to do private lessons. This is very sturdy, my 8yo can do pullovers with no wobbling. The coach loves it and it is very comparable to the ones they use in the gym. The best part, it folds up and takes very little space for storage. It has wheels on one side for easy transport. I have been wheeling this from my garage to the backyard for their lessons and I can do it all by myself.
