My favorite art class water color
Style: 8 Count
Best watercolor paint for amateur and beginner painters! This paint lasts a long time and creates beautiful water color paintings! I love the case size for on the go or school. The qty of colors is the same as the average paint colors. It creates a fun next step to painting. It applies well to water color paper as it doesn't take as much water to apply color. I find with other small water color sets the water tends to deep into the paper causing the paper to get too wet. I'd recommend this paint for art classes!

Great range of colors
Style: 8 Count
Great, affordable watercolors. You can achieve soft, translucent washes, and bold, bright, opaque layered hues. The oval pan has a great color variety, and clean up is a breeze.

2 years of use
Style: 16 Count
This is a review two years into using these paints. I might plan on upgrading soon, but they’re absolutely worth it if you’re on a budget for decent watercolors. The palette does stain (as a warning) if you don’t clean it, but that’s on me though. The only thing I’m sad about was the fact that the brush isn’t too good. You can get a wide range of colors with em’, and aren’t expensive to play around with. They’re great for beginners, too (coming from experience) and they’re still good for any skill level. I’m currently sort of running out of the yellow, but that’s just from use. I’ve used these for multiple paintings, and they do pretty well for landscapes too. (I’m using canson mixed media paper for all of these except the last pic, which is daler rowney sketch paper.). Much better alternative if you’re looking for cheaper paints.

Great starter set
Style: 8 Count
If you’re new to watercolor or looking to gift a set of paints but don’t know what to buy, this would be a great addition to anyone’s supplies. The paints are brightly pigmented, have a beautiful finish, and are an easy to work with. Because they’re semi-moist they never dry out hard like a rock, they’re easy to rehydrate and last a long time. The colors blend well together giving plenty of creative freedom to a curious new artist. The set is compact and can hold a brush making it perfect for painting on the go. Definitely would by again!

Nice bright colors
Style: 8 Count
I swatched these 8 colors and all but the black looked really nice. The black needs a bit more red added to keep the greenish tone down. The dried paint on the paper where I swatched them had shiny spots mixed in with the mat color. I wonder if that is the gum Arabic shining. I will use these pure true colors for a project. Overall very pleased. There is a useable brush . Good for beginners watercolor. The 8 colors can be mixed when a little water is added to make other colors such as lime green or lilac. Happy painting.

Vibrant Colors Every Teacher Recommends
Style: 8 Count
These Prang watercolors are hands down the best school watercolor paints. The colors are bright, rich, and much more vibrant than other common classroom brands like Crayola. As a teacher, these are the only watercolors I put on my school supply list each year because they consistently deliver high quality results. They’re easy for kids to use, long-lasting, and truly make student artwork pop. Highly recommended for both classroom and at-home use!

Highly recommend.
Style: 8 Count
The perfect set for my art class. Others reviews led me to those brand and they did not disappoint. The colors are vibrant and this set is easy to use. Paint can be used and applied thick or add more water for a lighter color. The price is right for this watercolor paint set.
