These gloves are amazing. You will notice the effects after just one session with the gloves on. Once you take off the gloves you'll start to feel the texture of the ball more as well as it being very light.This has helped with my dribbling handles and speed no doubt but they have also helped me with my weak hand layups. Because of these gloves my weak hand is almost as good as my strong hand when going up for layups. I highly recommend them if you are on the fence. These gloves have definitely helped me with my handles. I recommend them but if you are on a budget, you might want to look for an alternative since these are a bit pricey. I honestly think these should cost at most $30. Weighted gloves for training WILL up your handles, for sure!

Ive owned two pairs of these gloves over the past few years, so here are the pros and cons: Pros: This definitely increases your dexterity, ball-handling, shot, balance and speed with the ball. You literally notice the difference after 5 minutes of wearing them. I usually train with them on for about 20-30 minutes as a warm up, then finish off with the final 15 minutes of wearing them again. They're truly a great invention, this paired with light ankle weight training as well can help elevate your game (light training, don't blow something out...) , plus the weights are evenly distributed and not simply in the wrists (like ballhogs). Cons: The gold on the palms wears off quickly, not very easy to wash (so they can stink up quickly), after you wash them more color is removed, a bit pricey (but that's understandable considering the weights are on your fingers as well), and the stitching begins to slowly wear off and come out after about 6 months (depending on how often you use them). Overall they deserve a 5 in my opinion. Why? Because Im not using these for aesthetics, these are for improvement and training, and I was amazed at the results and how quickly they came. Once again, aesthetics would've likely gave them a 3 cause IMO they're kinda goofy-looking; but for me it wasn't about that, and Im very happy with my increased performance. ... show more

Would have earned a 5 star, but they leave a light black stain on my son's hands, which is decreasing with each wear. Doesn't matter if he sweats or not, and stain is difficult to remove w soap and water. They are otherwise EXTREMELY well made, and combine strengthening with a very clever challenge for the dribbler/thrower - the smooth palm/finger surfaces requires focus to keep ball from slipping out. Similar foot product would be cool for the runner/dancer since the farther the weight is from the "hinge" (hip, knee) the greater the strengthening effect. Remember it's the LAST THREE reps that you CAN'T complete that make you strong - push the muscle until it can't do it - rest for a day - repeat. Update - gray/black coloration effect is gone, highly effective and extremely well-made. ... show more

These are very high quality and I felt that it was a little risky buying them with so little reviews out there about this product. They are very good, but if you are not a serious player you shouldn't buy these. These are expensive and they really challenge you. Again if you aren't serious about this whole basketball thing or give up quickly you will just find yourself missing 70 bucks that you could have spent to get an Xbox game with. ... show more

This is an EXCELLENT basketball product! I felt a huge increase in my ABILITY to handle "the rock" right away. It makes it more difficult to HANDLE the ball because of the weight and the anti-grip, so when you take it off your handles feel a lot easy and IMPROVED. I would only RECOMMEND these to those that are SERIOUSLY about improving their game because it is $70 which isn't cheap. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Purchased the gloves with high expectations and have been let down so far. Stitching started coming apart almost instantly with low to medium use . My 14 yr old son uses them for shadow boxing and medicine ball workouts 3 to 4 x week and they immediately starting showing signs of coming apart but the video I posted shows the amount of stitching that has come off in a short span I have reached out to them to see if they will help replace them or give me a refund I will update if possible on how matter is resolved ... show more

If your thinking about improving your basketball skills, these are thing for you. Each glove weighs a pound. Weight on top of the fingertips to make it harder. Do a nice workout with them for 10 minutes, you take the gloves off, and your hands feel relieved and react to the ball making your ball handling way way better. This product is great.
