I have an older car, and finding wiper blades that fit properly and worked correctly has been a challenge. I’ve tried several other brands, but there was always an issue with their fit, their use, or their durability. The last set I tried from a nationally recognized and respected brand fit properly but left streaks all over my windshield while in use. I decided to try Powerstop’s PowerClear brand, and I am glad I did. They fit perfectly and leave no streaks when they’re being used. I picked this originally because it said it was from the USA; the package I received is from Korea... however the wipers themselves work great and have a full kit including cleaning cloths to clean the windshield before install! They wipe perfectly even during heavy Florida downpours, I have tested them several times this summer and am glad that I picked them up. Might purchase them again depending on the pricing when I have to replace wipers on another car; they are definitely high quality and compete well with other major brands from my experience. ... show more

    • Surprisingly good wiper kit

PowerStop has taken wipers to a new level with their PowerClear offering. I needed new wipers for my truck and saw these available and recognized the name and decided to give them a shot. I have not been having great luck with the RainX and other wipers I’ve gotten locally lately with them struggling after what seemed like only a month or two. Upon opening the PowerStop wipers I was pretty impressed. They include a large pack with a wipe in it like a supersize hot wing wipe. I went to use the wipe and was really impressed. For starters, wow, I did not realize how much gunk was stuck to my windshield. Secondly this wipe was a really good material for something they just toss in with the kit. Be aware that it does not dry your window so be ready with a separate towel or even some window cleaner to do the final cleaning afterwards. The wipe was very durable and removed a good amount of the tree sap and gunk but after feeling how rough my windshield was I’ve decided to also clay bar the windshield to finish removing the more stubborn debris before I used the new wipers. I’m suspecting that my previous wipers were not junk like I thought but just a victim of the microscopic trash pile that exists on the surface of my windshield. Dragging across these small particles had just chewed the new rubber up causing them to moan and groan until they were put out of their misery in the recycle bin. The PowerClear wipers fit the arms a bit more snug than the Bosch ones I’ve used before but they went right on and the lock snapped into place perfectly. They also have a small label you remove that exposes a UV indicator that lets you know when your wipers are ready to be replaced. It is really neat how they thought outside of the box to both improve wiper longevity with the included cleaning pack and also make the wiper experience something simpler for us with the indicator. I know companies are always looking at ways to find other opportunities and sometimes it comes across as an unnecessary product with their name slapped on it but these seem like a genuinely good offering. ... show more

I put these on literally right after I had my windshield replaced with an oem windshield. I used the wipes provided install was super easy and they are attached correctly. They streak in a number of spots pretty bad on both swipe up and down. I’ve had them on for a month and no difference. I really wanted to like these because their brakes are awesome.
