  • Not even 6 months old - fall apart...POS - NEVER BUY BEATS - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I tried to give Beats a second chance - so, I went with their latest Power Beats as I prefer the over the ear type of ear buds to stay in place while working out... Well - ordered these end of Feb 2018, have only been used in the gym, put back in their case in my gym bag, charged - repeat...and guess what, they broke... Hey Amazon or Beats - why don't you step up and fix this - complete waste of money! ***Update - Amazon customer service has you call Apple to fix these - Apple told me the "over the ear part" is not covered under warranty and you have to pay 99.00 to fix it, plus shipping, plus tax - so, you can buy a brand new pair for cheaper than the repair. Sorry Beats/Apple/Amazon - I will never buy/support any Beats product ever again - HORRIBLE customer service for an expensive pair of headphones. I had one issue once with my Bose home sound system - guess what, was repair immediately at no cost ... show more

  • Never again
Never again, 2 pair I bought, I thought since Apple is running them that the issue would go away. Nope. Brand new out of the box, not even a week later won't hold a charge. 1st pair had to return and exchange 2X to get a working pair. To make matters worse, I am in a remote location working for the DOD, and a month before mail comes. I should have known better, but like a crazy ex who is sexy and sweet " I promise things will be different this time!" Dre won't get anymore of my money. ... show more

  • Apple Support is Amazing at least.
I purchased these back in December and they arrived January 3rd. Within the span of when I received the product up until now I have been through 5 PowerBeats3s because they have failed. The headphones I have received have had either battery issues or connectivity issues that would cause the headphones to not work within about a month. I do use them to run and I do sweat, but one of the main reasons I wanted these headphones were because they were sweat resistance. The connectivity issues would disrupt my entire run when I would begin to get into a groove with my pace and the headphones would disconnect and not be able to pair with my phone for the rest of the run. Other times the headphone would completely die and not turn on, even though they had a full charge. After each headphone would stop working, I would contact Apple Support and they would quickly send out a replacement set of headphones. Fortunately, because they are within the one year warranty it did not cost me anything to get them fixed. After the 5th set stopped working, I realized that it's been over half a year and I still had issues with these headphones and I did not want to have to send them back in to Apple to get fixed but also have to pay for them to fix an issue with the headphones. Thankfully, I contacted Amazon about my issue and they were able to resolve my problem. The headphones were supposed to be an upgrade of Powerbeats 2 that I owned for the increased battery life, but the increased battery life means nothing if the headphones can't even turn on or stay connected. ... show more

  • Should be wayyyyyyyyy more durable for the price
Let's get the good out the way: WHEN they work, they're solid. Secure fit, decent sound quality, great battery life. However, I've had so many pairs of powerbeats that it makes no sense. They all failed after a few months. I bought the Powerbeats3 thinking they'd be better quality than the PB2s I had. For $200 dollars, these headphones should absolutely not have died as many times as they have. Within a month or two of having these, I had these replaced 3 (yes THREE) times for internal failures. After a little more than a year of moderate use (2-3x week on average only to work out) they crapped out on me again (3 blinking white lights and won't connect to my devices). They have not been submerged in water, they have not been physically damaged negligently. Reading other reviews now, I guess with the amount of time between failures, I'm one of the lucky ones, but at $200 retail, it's completely unacceptable, especially if you're only using them as intended and marketed. There are a number of budget priced competing products in the $20-30 range that I will try from here on out, because with the $99 cost to repair by Apple, it's simply not worth it. I've tried budget-friendly bluetooth headphones, and looking back, Powerbeats don't offer anything that warrants the significant premium or the headache. If you still buy these despite the reviews, at the very least, ensure you get an extended warranty. And if you intend to use these as regular headphones, there are manyyyyyyyy better options. ... show more

  • Don’t use if you sweat.
I primarily used these headphones so that people could hear me clearly during phone calls. It worked well until one day as I was listening to music while working outside under the hot sun and it decided to stop. Apparently, when sweat drops past the controls, the headphones electronically short out. Now that’s not very workout friendly, is it? One star, because of the price paid and it only lasted me a little over a year. ... show more

  • One Star
I liked the headphones up until they almost caught on fire while charging.
