I like that some of the affirmations are video game related, it's so cute! They come in different colors, the paper material is nice and sturdy, and they come in a little plastic jar for storage. This is a cute little item. I am always looking for a way to put affirmations in front of my children, so I love that this is sending positive messages form a gaming perspective- something they hopefully appreciate more than mom just telling them how great they are. For the price, it is a clever item for a stocking stuffer or small gift. The printing is cute, the cards are colorful and there are a lot of them in the little jar so I would say it is a good value. It is more substantial than a little post it note- more like the thickness of a birthday card. I told my son that he is allowed to open one every morning, so he likes that idea. It is almost like the excitement of an advent calendar. The box had one weird translation (I’m filled with love and sprinkles for you), but I read about a third of the affirmations and did not see any glaring translation errors. ... show more

I've been using these for classroom prizes and the kids love them. They are cute and say positive things. The baseballs have different faces on them and the kids like seeing which one they got. Sometimes I'll have the quietest student lining up pick one. Or I'll give kids who won the treasure chest a choice between the baseball or the treasure chest, and they will pick the baseball card. An excellent idea for coaches and/or parents who want to steer their players into positive thinking, both on and off the field. Though targeted for the sport of baseball, the affirmations on these little cards also apply to real life. They include phrases such as "You matter, you belong, you're doing just fine," "Don't compare. Run your own bases," and "You bring value just by being here." I can envision a youth baseball coach choosing one person each game or practice to pull a card from the jar, read it, then have a quick team discussion about it." Wouldn't the world be a much better place if more products like this were available and easy to use? Imagine the impact on young lives. I hope they create a classroom/education-based one, too.
