Fits & works better than new
A little bit of a pain to replace but not too bad, the design of porta-cools is ingenious in their simplicity. I think this pump might be better than the pump was when it was new. I'm very happy with the replacement pump. I'm guessing mine has been dying for a while I forgot how strong it was although it is possible mine was never this strong. I'm leaning toward the latter as the original pump always seemed anemic to me. This one is not anemic and works perfectly! ... show more

Easy installation
Great. Pump works well and it was delivered same day. That saved the day for us. This pump is the replacement pump for our original. It didn’t fit the original bracket but the new one has sturdy feet to keep it upright. Very impressed with the same day delivery and it looks stalled easily in our portacool. Works Great!
Not too hard to install. It is definitely Plug and Play for my PortaCool 2000. This is a strong pump....stronger than the original without a doubt. The media was saturated very quickly with this pump. Highly Recommended!

Best $25 bucks ive spent.
I live in Arizona and it is hot in the summer in my garage. I have a cyclone port-a-cool 2200 that i love. The pump went out and when i called a local service place the quoted me over $250 to fix my cooler. I was bummer and looking to just buy a new one because I couldn't live without one. I did a quick search and came up and found this part. This was by far the most reasonable price one i could find. Shipping was quick. Installation was very easy . simply take off the access and panel and find pump. Everything was plug and play. The cooler fired right up . It has been over 4 months and very happy and cool!
