I adapted this slider to an older traditional pin type pedestal shaft. I needed more room away from the bow and this adjustable seat frame fixed that problem. As with any cast item the bottom of the interior hole is going to be smaller than the outer most opening so if you are machining a delrin plastic adapter keep this in mind and measure for the taper. Very nice and well made seat adjustment unit. There are some comments on the 7" of travel . It's 3.5 from center forward and 3.5 backward so this might need a rewrite on the product description. ... show more

These seat mounts with slide come with long bolts, that screw into the 4 threaded holes on the seat bottom for secure and easy install. The slide works great. These are much better than the originals on my seats. Very happy with purchase so far!

Had less than a year and the bolts are falling out of both chairs that adjust the chair back and forth. My last chairs on this boat lasted 19 years. These lasted eight months!
