I was concerned about two issues regarding the difference between these Ralph Lauren Polo Boxers and the ones I previously purchased at Macy's. First, the description on Amazon indicated they were hand wash only. That is not the case; these are machine washable. Second, others have indicated these are longer than previous versions of the same product. I compared and found the inseam to be 1 inch longer; not enough to have them extend beyond normal shorts for everyday wear. All five in the set (Large) are labelled L G G, which is the proper size. I am pleased with these boxers; they are caressing and gentle on my privates.

I usually buy Haines boxer briefs but the last 3 six-packs I bought were cut low in the back. I cut them up for rags and swore I would not try Haines again. The material is much smoother than Haines but they are a bit snugger than I prefer. But they are cut right and I can wear them, so even though they are twice as much as Haines, I wasted no money. They will probably outlast the other.
