True to size. I ordered a 3X and I wear between a 2X or 3X. This blouse is very comfortable. The fabric is a knit with some stretch. It is loose in the stomach belly area which I was looking for because that is where I am larger. I was afraid the sleeves would be too tight but they have enough stretch that they were okay. It is a nice shirt, except the material is very thin and the sleeves are very long The only thing I don't like is that you don't put it in the dryer you hang on a hanger and let it air dry. But it's a comfortable shirt. Just wish the material was thicker.
