I purchased a size 24 because my normal size is 22/24 but unfortunately this fit a little snug around my waist/stomach/hip area. This dress is SOOOOO cute. I was afraid it was going to be clingy and show all the wrong lumps and bumps but it doesn’t. I did size up according to the size chart and it’s a perfect fit. I’m 5’5” and usually maxi dresses are way too long but this one falls perfectly to my toes to where I can wear a cute pair of sandals or a heel with it. The one strange thing I noticed that one side of the tie back piece is sewn to the dress and it’s much shorter than the other end. I thought maybe it was intentionally this way and meant to be tied to the side but when I tried that, the longer end wasn’t long enough lol. Also, the loops that the tie back piece goes through are too long and stick out a bit so I honestly thought to cut them off because I think it would be better without the tie! I had higher expectations for the fabric. But that aside, it is a nice dress and very comfortable. I needed a more formal dress for an evening event. The fabric is way more appropriate for a casual event. I will enjoy it as a great warm weather dinner/party dress.
