My kids were coming inside just when I was trying this out. "Wow Mom! Where are YOU going?" asked my 12 year old. "Mom! You look amazing!" said my 15 year old. I rarely get compliments from them, never without asking how I look, so I take this to mean that this dress is great! I lost all my core muscle strength during an extended illness with covid and then pneumonia so I tend to look kind of lumpy all over in a lot of clothes. But this dress is so incredibly flattering! Two of my teens are seriously pursuing careers in the arts so I go to A LOT of performances, both youth and professional, and didn't know what to wear now that nothing fits right. I'm so happy to have found this dress and also this brand... They clearly understand that just making something bigger all over doesn't flatter. The lace is a bit of a conundrum. You can see from the decolletage photo that it's asymmetrical, and I can't tell if that's intentional. Since it looks amazing otherwise, I'm just going with it! I wore a white bra so you could see what part is the dress and what would happen if you wore a regular bra underneath. Only the shoulder straps show in front or back so I'll just plan on wearing it with a black bra. ... show more
