The sizing is accurate. Just pay attention to the photo differences especially notice where the pink ribbon hit in the front on your waist. Mine hit a lot lower than pictured. (pictured showed right under your chest line, but really its closer to belly button (2-4 inch difference) I am planning on altering the torso so the waist hits the right spot. The back of the costume is plain fabric with Velcro, the pink ribbon does not go all the way around, incase you wanted to wear without the coat included. Also the ribbon has velcro you attach to the coat to keep coat on. I am 185, 5'2, B and ordered a XL. ... show more

I didn’t expect this to work as well as it does. This is quality fabric, the shirt is several layers of tulle to give it the shape. It will definitely need to be steamed before using as it comes in a small bag and unfolds and decompresses. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a size up, I am 5’1”/180/DDD and usually order Large clothing to fit a little loosely but I ordered an XL on this and is a little snug in the waist. bippity boppity boo 🪄 ... show more

It was a great price. It looks like the picture. The fit was good. The only complaint is polyester made me very warm, but it was in the description so I knew this may be an issue. This item is much better quality than I expected! Fits true to size. My daughter normally wears a women’s medium so when I saw some of the reviews saying the fit was small I was a little worried. So happy with this costume!

    • Know your (real) size before you buy!

Okay so I am 5’6” tall and weigh 120 lbs. (I am thin and small chested!) When you buy a costume like this, it’s helpful to know your “real size.” So, while I literally wear a size 0/25/XS in modern clothing, for the purposes of sewing patterns, I am a medium. (This is because we have vanity sized our modern clothing- I technically am a size 8! Like.... just a tad smaller than Marilyn Monroe’s infamous “size 10” that everyone refers to!) I bought the medium (8-10) in this costume and it was just right! It’s styled to make you look “frumpy” because, frankly, Fairy Godmother was a plump little lady, so the effect was great. I don’t love the super “plastic” feeling of the fabric, and if I had limitless time, I’d have preferred to sew my own costume out of a cotton/cotton blend fabric. But... for a busy mom in a pinch, this did the trick. It’s REALLY expensive... but it’s a Disney labeled costume. Accurate and pretty. I’m satisfied with it. ... show more
