  • This looks beautiful. It's new in the box and so in ...
This looks beautiful. It's new in the box and so in love with the color! I always disliked. The all black one and good thing it isn't region locked. Other than that its wonderful. Now about the vita itself. Before I owned a white darth vader psp which of course was a while back and don't have it anymore but I always enjoyed playing handhelds and I must say the design on the vita is much better. It's light on your hands. Some prefer buying a grip. I have a wrist band in case it somehow is slippery in my hand. Rather than disks in a cartridge, it's more like the DS like a microchip. Love it. The screen looks amazing so far even in the browser and playing YouTube on it (since the app is being discontinued. It's still easy on the eyed and high quality screen is wonderful. It charges with the same charger most android users have now a day's plus a power adapter which makes it longer for those times the battery is depleted and you still wish to continue playing. Overall, I hope to put in a lot of good use to this. I already have 2-3 games for it. Persona 4. Project diva f2. And whatever free games PlayStation has for the month. Honestly I can't regret making this purchase. I love it and hope to enjoy it more (: ... show more

  • It feels nice in the hand and noticeably lighter than the original ...
This color of the Vita is unavailable in the United States making it feel more unique in this country as no one i have came across had one. The Ps Vita is a very solid system. It feels nice in the hand and noticeably lighter than the original vita. While the game library isn't as expansive as that of the 3ds, there are many great titles on this as well that often look much better than 3ds games. The Screen no longer is an oled panel and is now an lcd but it doesn't make the largest difference as in my opinion the oled on the original vita was of low quality anyways. The dual thumbsticks can feel a bit awkward at times but is still appreciated and is loads ahead of the horrendous c-nub of the New 3ds. If would say the biggest con is the price of the memory cards as if one is a ps+ subscriber one will get many digital games and so many games are digital only in the us. ... show more

  • Condition is okay, but no box?
Condition is okay, there's very tiny scratches on the border of the screen and on the back of the console (which is stated in description so no real complaint there) The joysticks have slight notches in them which is very annoying, and the worst part is the Cartridge dust cover doesn't close all the way. And I was under the impression I'd get mine in a box? There are several reviews that say theirs arrived new in box, and the top review even shows someone unboxing theirs. It was very misleading and quite disappointing for the price paid. Overall an extremely disappointing purchase. ... show more

  • The Most Beautiful Thing I Have Ever Seen! The Most Beautiful Thing I Have Ever Seen!
I love my pink PSVita! I got mine used and there are absolutely no problems: no scratches, no scrapes, nothing! I have looked over this beauty all over and it's in perfect condition! I have been having a blast playing games on my pink PSVita and it looks so beautiful on my shelf next to my pink PSP, I love having game console options OTHER than black and red. ps. Please note that mine has a glass protector on the front and back! I recommend this to keep yours safe too! ... show more

  • I really felt like I was ripped off
I was not a big fan of the PS Vita (PCH-2000) because it felt kind of cheap. I paid $200 and when I got it, I really felt like I was ripped off. The buttons were very squeaky (audible across the room) and the right side of the console felt loose and squeaked when you pressed on the far edge of it. I returned it and purchased an older white PS Vita (PCH-1000). The PCH-1000 is thicker and heavier, but it is a quality product. I didn't feel like I was ripped off when I got it. It felt good in my hands and none of the buttons squeaked. Also, the OLED screen is much nicer then the LCD that is found on the PCH-2000. The only down side to the OLED is that you have to be cautious with "burn ins" on the screen. Honestly the only thing I really liked about the PCH-2000 vs. the PCH-1000 is that it is lighter and a little bit easier to hold, but I can deal with the increased weight and thickness for a better quality console. The PCH-2000 is not a horrible console, as long as you don't mind the possibility of having squeaky buttons. It weighs virtually nothing and the LCD screen is still good quality, especially if you have never seen the OLED screen. I would probably end up purchasing this product again if I didn't have an option to still get the PCH-1000. If you are making a first time PS Vita purchase, do your research before you jump in. The PCH-1000's can still be found for a decent price, but they are slowly getting harder to find. ... show more

  • Very nice system, but buy it new if you can
The light pink and white Vita is absolutely precious. I can't express how much I love the color scheme. Sometimes I just have to stop to admire it and smile at how cute the pink they used is. If you are like me and find the sole North American color (that isn't part of some sort of bundle) of black to be incredibly boring or you live with someone who has a Vita of their own and you don't want them getting mixed up, importing is totally worth it. My only suggestion would be that, if you can afford it, you buy new rather than used. The reason for this is because a new Vita will come with firmware that isn't up-to-date with the newest version Sony has released. This means you can install 3.60 and Hentaku, which will allow you to hack the system. Even if you don't plan to emulate any games, there's a very good reason for doing so, namely that Sony makes you buy proprietary memory cards for your Vita at ridiculously inflated prices for the amount of memory they are actually selling you. Fortunately, some incredibly clever person created an adapter that you can just plug into your Vita's memory card slot in order to use micro SD cards on your Vita instead. The adapter is VERY cheap, selling for less than two dollars. If you plan to have a lot of games (especially if you think you'll want to make use of the PS Network to get games digitally, which you should consider a definite possibility because in addition to having all sorts of PSP, PS, and PS2 games on the Network, you don't know how wonderful it is to be able to get the game you've been dying to play that's sold out everywhere the very same day you want to play until you've experienced it for yourself), this could end up saving you a TON of money in the long run. Unfortunately, the adapter only works if you have Hentaku installed and you can only install Hentaku on firmware 3.60 and if you have firmware that is higher than that, there is no way to downgrade it, even if you factory reset the machine. While it is possible to get a used system with 3.60 or below, its a roll of the dice. There's no guarantee that you will get a system with the firmware that you want. So, if you have the option, I would really suggest buying new. I didn't have the money to get a brand new system, so I had to roll the dice myself and buy used. Unluckily, it showed up preinstalled with 3.65 and, while I still love my new (used) Vita, having to shell out more than $40 for a 16GB memory card (for reference, at the time of writing this review, a high speed micro SD card of the same size costs just a little less than $10) was pretty painful! ... show more

I was very satisfied with my vita, no scratches, yellowing or marks. Everything worked exactly as described, I was so happy to have found one on Amazon in good condition, these don’t restock often so if you see on don’t hesitate to buy

  • Love it !
Just got it today and as people have said already, its region free. When the system starts up it asks what language. Its so light compared to my 3DS XL haha. Just getting used to the X and O buttons. Only little tiny thing that bothered me was my box wasn't really factory sealed or in a plastic wrap. The system seems fine so far, looks brand new, smells brand new (yes i smell my stuff to see if its new XD). The system doesn't come with any memory card, just a heads up, but the system itself does have 1g memory. ... show more
