Perfect size for toddler hands. My 15 month old loves to roll this truck on the ground and stick the recycling bins and bags through the shape sorter openings in the back. I paid about $10 and found this worth it, though I have seen the price fluctuate. The plastic is a thicker, higher quality than many toys. This is a very German looking little car with the rounded edges. Having lived in Germany for years, it makes me nostalgic! It is bright, the rubber wheels roll smoothly, and the little driver is a perfect introduction to pretend play for younger toddlers like my daughter. I grew up on Playmobil toys and expected quality. This truck did not disappoint. Two notes: the recycling collector part of the truck is actually bright orange and not the brown on the box. In my opinion, the orange is cuter anyway, and it's in keeping with German trash/recycling collector uniforms and trucks. The truck itself is very simple with no small pieces to break off, but it is made of three pieces - the base of the truck, the recycling collector bin, and the door to that which has shape cut outs for shape sorting the little bag and barrel. These pieces do pop off quite easy. My toddler is able to rip them apart on her own at times. They are very easy for an adult to put back on, and I think the idea behind it is that a piece that pops off easily will be harder to break.     • Great for Toddlers!
Another hit with my 1-year-old grandchild. His 4-year-old brother also liked it. The 2 pieces of "recycling" can be sorted into the correct space in the back of the truck, and the driver can be placed in the cab to "drive" it all over the floor. Well-made, sturdy, should last for his children.

My kid loves this truck because it is a truck that holds things. I love it because it is durable enough to survive many falls, and compact enough to be a good for entertainment in restaurants, waiting rooms, and the like. The only downside is that the figure is difficult to get from standing to the sitting position required to sit in the cab. It may be that we just got a one off that is stiffer than usual. ... show more

Got this as a gift for neighbors soon to be toddler. It's strong and well=made. No small pieces. Good to push for beginner creepers. Wish it were scaled a bit larger.

I bought this for my friend's one-year old boy. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was perfect for him. I wasn't sure if he'd know how to play with the little man or the trash cans. He surprised us all. He knew which shape went into the different shaped holes in the back. He loves to take it apart, and put it back together many times. My 20-month-old isn't really into toys but this was a big hit. He's really into containers and emptying things and putting them away and this truck has many of those features. Super Cute, Durable and NOT Made in China! We have had a very hard time finding toys for our baby / Toddler that are Not "Made in China"....its shocking that just about Everything Is!!!! Sad! I was very excited when my Sister in Law introduced me to the Playmobil Brand. From what I have seen, most of their toys are Made in Germany! Awesome! ... show more
