So, that’s not exactly true... I’m not a daily card player, but I find a case to bust out a deck fairly frequently. As such we put a lot of wear on a deck and can be a little rough, meaning we go through them fairly often. I tend to notice the coating on the cards is especially susceptible to degradation, making for sticky and unsatisfying shuffle and general card handling. I saw this two pack come up on the Marketplace with a price point of $5.99 which is about the same as your run of the mill Bicycle Playing Cards so figured it was worth a shot. The cards arrived quickly in plastic shrink wrapping, and also individually shrink wrapped. Busting into the deck I found the cards had a great glide, shuffled well, had a moderate thickness, and seemed to hold up well to bending and flexing. The artwork was about what you might expect, with a very slight playful aesthetic. Over all, very comparable to a more well known playing card, and a decent price.

These seem to be a good quality of playing card. Smooth and no sharp edges, not easily bent. I got these to use with a card shuffler and the shuffler handles them well. I would recommend them.

I’m super happy with this deck, especially as more and more cards online are intricately designed but plastic-y and slippery. These feel high-quality, aren’t weirdly slippery, and have really fun designs on them. The designs are especially cool because they’re subtle enough to use in a regular game but distinct enough that you can appreciate the variety. Would absolutely recommend!

What can you really say about deck(s) of cards? There are some basic expectations - 4 suits - 2 colors (red and black) - typical Ace thru 2 cards. All of those are given. So - what sets one deck of cards apart from another? Recently, there seems to be more and more decks that are flimsy. They don't have a protective coating. They simply are cheaply made. Well, these decks are none of that. They are sturdy and will stand up to a lot of games of poker or crazy 8 or whatever your favorite game is. They have a protective coating that makes the cards a bit 'slippery' but also protects them from getting smudged or stained during game play. These cards are evenly cut - no ragged edges or unaligned cuts. These show a quality printing process throughout. Could you get cheaper? Probably. But these cards will likely outlast those cheaper decks over and over. 5 stars

When I hold these playing cards in my hands, I can immediately feel the thickness of the paper stock and the smoothness of the plastic coating. It's like a blast from the past, reminding me of the classic cards that my parents and grandparents used to play with.
