  • Well designed, beautiful table
Size: 9-Feet Color: Black
Very sturdy. Flawless finishes. Use saw horses to avoid having to flip. Need short philip hear screwdriver for tight spaces. Also useful: ratchet socket wrench and a hand drill for pilot holes.

  • Great-playing table with a few cosmetic flaws.
The media could not be loaded. Very solidly built, for the materials used (Solid wood, plywood, MDF). Quite heavy. Definitely want a second person, but I was able to slide it down 6 steps to my basement and with one end on the floor, place one leg under the other end then lift the end on the ground and slide the second leg into position and bolt them up by myself. But get a second person! The board itself is not the highest quality. The individual pieces of wood are not joined in any way. (A few days later... Addendum #1: The planks ARE finger-joined on the edges, while many boards I’ve looked at online have some sort of joinery visible on the surface. Addendum #2: The can of Triple Crown wax that came with it is about ⅛” too tall to fit on the shelf. The Sun-Glo brand cans fit with about ¼” to spare. The shelf height is just shy of 7-5/16” high.) Many gaps in between and knots filled with wood putty. Many swirls from rough grit sand paper on an orbital sander. But that is all underneath the finish, which is a fairly thin layer. Only found a couple tiny blemishes in the finish itself, and none of that affects gameplay. The edges of the board are kinda rough. I will give them the tiniest bit of sanding to avoid any possible splinters while sliding hands along the edge. But it plays very well aside from that. The pucks all have a nice smooth curve to them and glide very nicely without plowing up piles of wax. A few very minor scuffs here and there, nothing major. However the door on the cabinet leg has a prominent scratch right in the middle, but it will be pointed at the corner of the room and not highly visible. The bottom of one corner got sanded a little too much after the stain was applied. Oh well. The laminate on the apron doesn’t come quite to the bottom edge, so there is like maybe a millimeter of bare plywood showing at the bottom edge. If I get around to it I may try to touch up those areas. Overall for the relatively low price of an entry-level shuffleboard table with maybe not the best, and relatively thin, but at least actual maple board with climate adjusters, I am well pleased with the functionality of the table despite its few minor flaws. It seems it should be quite durable. I would definitely recommend to anyone not wanting to spend 2-3 times or more, but wants a shuffleboard table in their home! ... show more

  • Fun
Size: 16-Feet Color: Honey Oak
I've had this table for years. It is so much fun. I recommend getting bigger pucks. We got the 2 5/16 pucks and it made a big difference. Also, when assembling, put main table on some stable saw horses and attach legs. When legs are attached take out saw horses and you don't have to flip table. Also, It is hard to level but then again it's a fairly cheap table. ... show more

  • Looks fabulous.
Size: 12-Feet Color: Cherry
We purchased the assembly package so I can't say if it was easy to assemble. It didn't take the guys very long to put it together. This shuffleboard looks very nice. It was a good price and the 12 ft size fits perfectly for our room. We haven't played it much but I'm sure it will last a long time.

  • Great Table!
I like the table a lot - so do my friends. Looks nice, too. Pros: Looks great. The table has yet to be completely level - with the climate controls that it comes with underneath, I haven't done that yet, but it's totally playable. A lot of other reviews people have said ( of other tables ) that you can't play on it since the table is warped and the pucks don't stay on. This one does, as it is supposed to be concave on the ends and level in the middle. It has that, however one end is more drastic than the others. I call it 'riding the rail' when I want to go on that side, because you can get a really nice curve one on side. Don't know if I'll attempt to fix, or leave it as is. A fun, fun table. The best size to get if you can fit into your house. 12 foot - much better than a smaller one, and perfect size for my house. I was thinking of a 14', but I am glad that I didn't get that. It would have been too big. My buddies and I were up all night playing it ( seriously til about 7:30 the next day! ) Cons: You need help getting it in and turning it over once the legs are on. Putting the legs on are easy - but flipping it, you cannot do by yourself. The sides are particle board with a wood covering - that's expected, as this would be hugely expensive if it were all regular wood, but still looks nice. There was no directions on how to play the game. Only set up instructions. I had played before, but I forgot how the scoring works - I guess that's what the internet it for. The scoring pieces are cheap. They are just plastic sliders that go up to 99 that your supposed to drill into the top of the sides. There are no drill marks telling you were to put these. I didn't do that, as I didn't want to put these on anyways, but I would have liked to have the wood chip sliders instead of these. I believe you can find them, but they are expensive too. About 35 dollars I've seen them. For now, I am using what they gave me, but they're just loose on a window sill. There are no directions on how to use the climate controls either. I found a good 'how to' video on youtube to set those when I get cross that bridge. All is all, a great purchase. ... show more
