I loath the styling of the PS5. Absolutely hate it. To top it off, they make it white so it stands out like a shore thumb among my black electronics; the color they're supposed to be. Ditching that ugly white for this is much better. Along with placing this down low in the self, it helps the ugly thing not stand out. I wish they made plates that turn the curvy ugly thing into a square, but this is second best thing to that. Just got the PS5 and that white had to go ASAP. Very good quality product.

you literally can’t go wrong! especially for the price. Easy to install, creates a sleek, cleaner look compared to the standard covers the ps5 comes with. Sturdy and durable! IMO the vents have made a noticeable difference in the amount of heat my console holds.. much cooler to the touch. Prior to this purchase I’ve looked into cooling fans/bases but with this I don’t think those would be necessary anymore. fyi I only use my console daily @about 2/3 hrs at a time. I can’t speak on any other colors but the black covers are exceptional. 10/10 Update* June 11th 2023. Covers are still holding up true. No heating issues whatsoever, Every 2/3 months I easily remove the cover to dust the cooling fans off.

Decided to get the vented black covers since I don’t want to get any stains of the white ones. They actually snap into the original spots easily and look amazing on the disk model. Works very well with the base provided by Sony as well for vertical and horizontal use. Provided plenty of images for anyone doing research on what to get for your console. I didn’t test honestly if these are better for airflow/cooling, I don’t game a lot and when I use it I can hear the fan kick on a low speed for like 5-8 seconds and die down and I continue to use system with zeros issues. The vents actually do work, while playing I can sense a light breeze on both sides and the rear of the system. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

Super happy with how these face plates look! Makes the system look like a monster. The vent slits are a nice touch to help give a little extra air flow. I imagine it’s a negligible difference but a little extra doesn’t hurt. They fit perfectly. Didn’t struggle at all sliding them on. Packaging was good too. Each one was bubble wrapped in the box. Definitely buy these if your looking to beef up the look of your ps5!

My new black PS5 plate looks great. I love the matte finish and the vents really help with air circulation inside my system. My only issue was with the installation. The disc side of the plate wouldn't attach all the way, and it too a lot of messing around to get it to stay. At the end, I just used the stand to keep everything in place. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
