For the most part, these plastic bobbins are great, especially for the price. I also ended up getting 129 instead of 128, which is always a plus. I noticed other comments state that the slits are a bit too big, but the "perfect" bobbins have the usual space for plastic bobbins from Walmart or wherever. The issue seems to be with the slightly imperfect pieces, which ended up having larger slits, and I can definitely see that there may be an issue of keeping the thread in the slits. I stacked two imperfect pieces on top of a "perfect" piece, just so I could actually double check, too. Luckily, I only got 10 imperfect pieces and the rest look fine at a glance. Overall, a really good buy when you find yourself needing a lot more bobbins for a large project and you forgot to buy some at the craft store and are too lazy to go back to the store for a small pack of 28. ... show more

    • Floss isn’t held firmly by little slit
I used these but I think that the floss will unwind easily because the little slits don’t hold the thread ends tightly.

These are sturdy and well made BUT for embroidery floss they don’t work so well. The slits that hold the thread are too wide so they just slip out and tangle the thread all together.
