I’m a night owl, and I’m getting new roommates who are not. I play when I feel like it and wanted to mute my acoustic a bit for late night playing. This fits my Taylor guitars. If I had to guess I would say it’s a 20-30% reduction in projected sound. I can still hear it fine, but it doesn’t let the guitar fill the room as much (as expected). So it does the job I bought it for…dampening. I have not used this in a feedback solution, and I don’t expect I will. Easy in, easy out. ... show more

I mostly bought this as a humidity buffer for for the Taylor that I keep on a stand or wall hanger. I have a damp-it style humidifier in the guitar itself (follow bob Taylor’s in-guitar humidifier instructions so it can never ever leak!) this will work out perfectly for that and is easy to pull off when it’s time to rock. ... show more

Perfect fit in my Fender DG-7. The front is stamped "USA Made" but the package says "Designed in USA Made in China" which is not a big deal but anytime you see the specific words "USA Made" instead of "Made in USA", it usually means it is not actually manufactured in the US. Having said all that, this thing is rock solid and thick! It solved my volume problem. I am very glad I purchased this one and would definitely buy another one just like it if needed.
