This was a perfect replacement for my original that got punctured by a nail. I did, however, puncture this one when installing it, because I did it wrong. Word to the unwise, Google how to change a tube "before" breaking the one you just ordered.

    • Weak valve stem...

I had high hopes for this tube but just like all the others here on Amazon it sucks. It's only been installed for 5 days and the valve stem has already ripped out of the tube. It's a good looking tube but obviously looks can be deceiving. It held air good the whole 5 days I've had it installed and never leaked a drop of air. We made sure to deflate and inflate the tire a couple of times while installing to make sure there were no kinks or binds in the tube under the tire. We also made sure to use the nuts and the washer on the valve stem appropriately. I went with this inner tube because I wanted to spend a few extra bucks on a better tube instead of getting a cheap $10 tube that's made from basically paper. But spending the extra few dollars didn't benefit me at all. I'm hoping it was just a bad or defective tube because the valve stem shouldn't have ripped out of this tube that easy. ... show more

I could feel the difference in weight and thickness between this tube and the original tube which the stem actually ripped out of the tube! This tube is definitely thicker and better than the stock tube. I slapped it in and Shes ready to ride!!!
