Bought this to display on my fishing boat in all conditions and speeds up to 55MPH + wind. It's well constructed, but the upper grommet pulled out. I had to sew in a band of heavy-duty cloth on that edge and embroider the heck out of it in the grommet areas, before punching new holes and setting new grommets of the same type. The factory stitching was holding up fine (however, while it was on the machine, I went over the borders again for peace of mind).

I read the reviews about the flag ripping but because I am hardheaded and got it anyway. It is the grommets that is the issue. The flag pole is fine. The flag literally lasted less than 2 hours on the boat (not a speed boat, a skiff) before the grommets were loose and the flag ripped. The pole and the mount was fine and sturdy. Its the flag grommets that is the problem. Very disappointed, spend a little extra and get a solid one.
