I need a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in June and the bride, being frugal, insisted that the bridesmaids buy their dresses from Amazon or elsewhere rather than spending a small fortune at a bridal shop. She just asked us to stick to basically the same color (sage green). This is nearly identical to a dress I tried on at a bridal store for $180 (not including alterations). This is my first experience buying a formal dress from Amazon so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am happy to say that this exceeded my expectations. This was actually the third dress I bought from Amazon but sent the other two back. This is also one of the few dresses that shipped via Prime and came within a week with no additional shipping charge. The dress sizing is accurate. The hem on both the underskirt and the chiffon overlay are finished edges and rather nicely done. The dress was too long on me (I'm 5'5" and wearing a 2" heel), so I did need to have it shortened which I had done by a professional seamstress for $48. What I like most about this dress is that I can wear it either off- or on-the-shoulder and it looks beautiful either way. Even wearing it on the shoulder you still have a bit of sleeve to cover your upper arms (which is why I bought it... I don't like to show my arms). The waist can be pulled up a bit, too (empire) or sit at your natural waistline. Because there is an underskirt which is NOT see-through, I will feel confident not having to wear a slip (it's a June wedding so no telling how warm it will be). And did I mention how comfortable it is?! Overall, I am 100% happy with this dress and would absolutely recommend it.

I bought this dress at the last minute for my brothers wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. I ended up hating the initial dress I bought so I stress searched on Amazon expecting to find a dress that was “good enough”. I was so surprised by this dress! It fit perfectly. I did get the bottom hemmed but I am 5’4” and wore a low heel. The dress was super comfortable and flattering, I felt beautiful. I think you are meant to wear the sleeves off the shoulders but I didn’t and it ended up giving me a square shaped neck line which I actually loved more than the off the shoulder look. Dress fits true to size but I sized up and liked the bigger size more. Don’t hesitate!! Get the dress!

First of all I have to say I loved this dress, but I must warn of some things I didn't expect when buying. 1) The color. The color is not as dark as advertised, but it's not as bright as it is in my picture either. The color is more akin to a blood red. Wasn't a big deal for me as I had many different reds in my wedding, but if you're in need of a true deep burgundy, this is not it. 2) The material. I don't know if this is a color-specific difference or because it's in a larger size, but instead of the sheer sleeves you see in the advertisement and in other reviews of the same dress, they're solid color. The entire dress is the same (EXTREMELY) stretchy fabric, which ended up being a plus, but again it's not what is advertised in this size and color. This stretchy fabric is also extremely hard to iron/steam, but not impossible. Some positive things would be, and again I can only say this for this specific color and size, is that it was extremely comfortable and it has pockets. The sillouette is beautiful on a plus size body and they did a great job on proportioning the style in bigger sizes (IYKYK). I highly recommend this specific if you're in need of a plus size formal event dress. I ordered a 26, but it would easily stretch to 28/30 without looking awkward.

Loved it. I used it for my wedding. It took a while to try and get the wrinkles out but in the end I was able to walk down the aisle with this beautiful sage dress. The material is not that see through. It was perfect for me.

This dress was gorgeous on but the fabric was terrible. The fabric picked in multiple places before I could even put it on. I wore it to my event with the picks in the fabric because I didn’t have any other dress choices. I would not recommend anyone purchase this dress unless you want to only wear it once and have to throw it away.

I love the sheerness and length of this dress. The holes under the arm are large, dress was supposed to be off the shoulders and the dress was way too tight around the waist. Very disappointed.
