This dress is beautiful. I love the lace and chiffon together. The color is considerably lighter than it appears in the photos. It’s more of a dusty lavender, but colors are often different from the way they appear on a screen. Just be aware that the colors may not be quite as vibrant as they appear. I normally wear a size 18, but ordered 2 sizes up based on experience with clothes purchased via Amazon and it fits perfectly. It’s a tiny bit loose, but I prefer that. If you like a snugger fit, order one size up. Overall, this dress is a good purchase. The delivery wasn’t as good. Amazon’s drivers deliver ~25-30% of my packages to the wrong address. I stopped this one who was blocking access to our road and asked him for my package. He said it wasn’t on his truck and that it may have been with packages he delivered to a neighbor. And then he said I’d have to contact Amazon! I walked to my neighbor’s house and sure enough, he had my dress. It’s a pain trying to track down packages. I wish they’d hire people who can read numbers.

I bought this while losing weight and ended up buying too large a size so the waist was baggy. Nonetheless I bought it solely for my mother-in-laws wedding. My husband walked her down the aisle so I was amongst the bride and brides maids in a pool area. I was complimented a great deal even by the photographer though I felt like a whale in a nice bag. I should note the colors were navy and coral but I was the only person to actually wear navy. The blue they ended up using is what my husband is wearing so I wore the darkest outfit there. I ran it by the bride first before buying and aside from my prom dresses this is the nicest dress I own. Note large in the chest so I had no issues with the chest itself merely the waist.

So many great things about this dress. It’s lovely, with the lacy bodice and sleeves, a wide waistband and the sheer, lined skirt. The V-neck, criss-cross front was easy to pin with a safety pin so it didn’t plunge too much for me. I’m a plus size with a bit of tummy and I felt pretty and comfortable in this dress. Now for the one issue I had. The zipper at the waistband kept getting stuck. The seam was too close to the teeth of the zipper. LUCKILY, I know how to sew and with a small amount of effort I was able to alter that part. BUT, if I hadn’t been able to do that, I couldn’t have worn this dress.

The dress fit perfect however you can not get the wrinkes out of the dress. I tried at different heat settings and the wrinkles never came out from shipping. I even tried steaming it for an hour in the shower. It looked horrible for a wedding with the wrinkles in it from shipping so I couldnt wear it and will be returning it.

True to size. I purchased 2 one with the belt and one with out. Both were amazing, but I did cut the belt bow off as it didn't lay nice. It was easy to remove and looked fine with out. I do want to note that the zipper is hard to get over the many layers of fabric around the waist but works fine.
