They're small, but you can fit a small phone or car key in them. I'd say they run small, as I sized up and it was still more snug than expected, but still fits comfortably. Probably meant to fit that way anyway. UPDATE, I ordered several colors over time. Light Grey is a hideously ugly separate brand. Returned. Dark Grey is also a totally different brand (Charlotte Russe) and I got 2 sizes off from what I ordered, but I kept it. It fit fine and was more similar to the expected brand. True to size with the perfect length and coverage. The built in shorts do NOT ride up (which is a huge win for me). For reference, I’m 5’3, 160 lbs with thicker legs and a bigger butt. I like these skirts quite a lot. Good quality and fit. I do have one complaint. I bought two, same size different colors. I first bought the brown in a size medium and I absolutely love it! So much so I wanted to get black too so I ordered black in medium as well. The fit was different, a tighter fit, and so was the material. It was like a whole different skirt. I still like it but I found that to be a little odd. I thought about exchanging the black for a large but decided I didn't want to go through the hastle. Purchased in three colors while they were on one of those flash deals. They fit great and the colors were lovely. I’m 5’10 and 150 pounds and ordered a medium. Fits me great. I chose a medium because I thought they would be a thinner material and I sometimes find that if I order a my normal small that the waistband won’t have enough structure not to roll down or get wrinkly. I was right! The medium fits just right and looks nice. I definitely could’ve worn a small but the fabric doesn’t have a lot of structure and it just wouldn’t have looked as nice. I have not played Pickleball in it yet and I certainly don’t think these will hold up as well as my higher end brand name skirts. But I love having color options, especially for matching partners at tournaments and this fits the bill. I have three more sitting in my cart even though they’re no longer on sale. At $20 they are still an excellent deal. One thing I will say is they have a nice hem. Sometimes inexpensive skirts have shoddy hems which really ruins the silhouette. I love that this is high waisted! Feels like it gives tummy control. It’s cute and flattering and covers enough of your bum. It’s a skort which is so comfortable and it can suit different styles. It’s stretchy and has nice movement to it. Feels like it’ll last! Definitely worth the money!

Cute but not true to size as marked. Maybe for a different country but not USA sizes. Material is cheap and simple pattern. Even on sale at $17.00 I would say over priced for value of actual item.

However, these are so comfortable and cute that I wear them outside the court instead of shorts.
