The pilgrim women's dress and hat appear to be of quality fabrication considering it's a costume and the $26.00 price point at the time of this review. The one piece pilgrim dress runs a bit small - I'm 5ft 4, 104 pounds, and wear a size xs / sm (2-4). However, according to the reviews for this item, numerous customers recommended going up at least one size. Of course, costumes often run a bit small. Therefore, I ordered a medium which fit comfortably and cute with a nice long length that fell approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches above the floor. I'm not sure if the hat is a one size fits all, however, it was a good size and scale for my small - average size head. Also, the costume arrived quite wrinkled but can easily be removed using a steamer or iron. As well, the velcro used to secure the back of the costume's neckline is quite flimsy. I think the closure could have been improved using a button, zipper, hook and eye, or snap. I'm looking forward to wearing this costume which will certainly add a fun and festive pilgrim vibe to my Thanksgiving celebration. ***** I personally think the hat looks much nicer tying the tie in a bow and tucking it underneath the back of the cap so it's not visible! *****

It is truly cute! Simply nice!! I normally wear a Large purchased a X-Large and it fit perfect! So it runs small but it is adorable highly recommend.

Beautiful pilgrim costume! Purchased for Thanksgiving but would also be cute for Halloween. Fits over the head with a small velcro closure at the neckline. The apron and collar are attached to the dress. The only thing separate from the costume is the bonnet. I suggest you size up one size from the size you normally wear (as is true with most costumes). Washing instructions are spot clean only. Wish it was washable but otherwise it's perfect.

I was surprised by how nicely this was put together. The hat is very authentic, as is the outfit. It fits well and is comfortable. The quality is nicer than I expected. There are no parts to worry about coming undone, as it is all one piece. A secure and fun outfit.

I'm 220lbs and wore the XL with plenty of room . the fabric is super stretchy, its not see through but i did wear leggings and a long sleeve shirt under to withstand the 35f trick or treating! material is soft i washed on cold and hug up to dry - it was dry within 20 mins

Cute costume for a Thanksgiving Day event! However, there are two major things that I don’t like. First is that there is NO elastic in the waist, making it difficult to get on, especially if you have a larger chest like I do. If you’re unsure about sizing, definitely size up. Secondly, the apron is completely sewn to the dress (not just across the waist, but down both sides), which is something that I think looks awkward in person. The thickness of the material is what you would expect from a Halloween-type costume, but if you get it on sale, I’d say it’s a decent buy!

Better quality than I had anticipated! It was very cute. I wore it during thanksgiving as a surprise to make my family smile and laugh, and it did! The hat was very well made as the dress was, nice and stretchy. I got a medium and I am 5’5” 160lbs and I was very comfortable.
