    • Excellent review of C, G, and F scales and explanation of 6/8 time.
I like that this book has all 3 scales (C, G, and F and the cadences), and then moves on to explain 7ths, 3 and 6/8 time, and then moves into the key of D. It works well with the theory book, and if the student can get the companion technic and performance books, even better!

The songs in this book is very fun to learn . It progresses in difficulty which helps my son improve along the way. I really enjoy this purchase

The book I received had too much writing inside to be of use to me. I contacted the customer service for HPB, and they refunded the cost of the book.
