Bought this for my 11 yr old who requested an “beauty” Advent calendar. We’re on day 7 and so far the gifts have been pretty meh. The colors of cosmetics would be complementary to no skin tone that I know of. She’s pretty disappointed and so am I. You get what you pay for, I guess.

There were brushes in addition to all the makeup items. For us, this was a gift for a 10 year old who is into makeup. It comes with EVERYTHING. That may or may not be a good thing depending on the person for whom this is for. But if you needed to travel? LITERALLY EVERYTHING is inside.
