Light, very clean scent. It's the soap and water fresh feeling with a little extra. Perfect for summer, when you want to feel fresh on these hot days. For healthcare workers, it's an excellent light choice that is not overpowering for patients. It's also a great layering scent. I mix it with an amber musk oil and it is beautful. Pure grace and amazing grace are 2 of my favorite perfumes/ fragrances but I do lean towards pure grace more. Pure grace smells like soap in the best possible way and it lingers nicely. People tell me how nice I smell although I do not smell it after about an hour of wearing it. I can also smell it on my clothes at the end of the day and it smells beautiful. I have tried many philosophy fragrances and they are all nice and soft- great for day wearing. For evening I do like to wear something more impactful in deeper tones of amber, honey, vanilla, earthy. I agree that the formula did change since the founder sold to coty, but it is still similiar to the original that I do repurchase. ... show more

    • I don’t hate it
I'm on the fence about this one. I don't dislike it, but I'm still trying to decide if I actually love it. On the first spray, I immediately picked up a strong rubbing alcohol note. Once that faded, it turned into something that reminded me of a fresh soap scent—almost like those scented Crayola crayons from the '90s. If anyone remembers the blue one labeled "baby powder," that's exactly where my mind went. As it continued to dry down, I started noticing hints of honeysuckle. Overall, it smells very clean. My husband said it reminds him more of the scent you'd walk into at a nice hotel and instantly fall in love with—the fresh, crisp smell of freshly laundered linens—rather than a traditional perfume.     • Fragrance doesn’t last long.
I used Pure Grace years ago and loved the clean sent. I still do but unfortunately the fragrance doesn’t last long at all. If you don’t mind bringing your bottle with you to spritz up a little it’s great. Just a shame they changed the formula so the frangrance wears off quickly.
