  • Great option for travel!
Color: Mint Light Blue Configuration: Battery
I've been using a Philips Sonicare Series 2 full-size/power toothbrush for over 6 years now, and it's still going strong. I love it but felt it was a bit bulky for travel, plus it didn't really have a case that made it easy to travel with, so I typically traveled with a traditional toothbrush instead. I'd still keep up with my daily routine but missed the convenience of an electric brush. Travel+Leisure gave the Philips One a pretty good review for travel toothbrushes, saying that the one thing to consider was that "The handle is small for an electric toothbrush." I figured "hm, okay, but if I want to slim down what I'm carrying for travel, it seems it would be comparable to a traditional toothbrush; that doesn't seem so bad" and so I sprung for the AAA battery-operated one, after doing a pros and cons comparison. Pro for the battery one- it's about $10 less, and you can remove the battery when not in use to avoid damage or drastic loss of charging power. Con, the battery is a consumable item that will be used up and needs to be replaced. Pro for the rechargeable one- less waste since it will only ever need the one battery. Con, the brush would need regular/constant use to maintain battery life. This isn't meant to be my main toothbrush for everyday use. For that I have my Sonicare Series 2. However I still want the convenience and ease of use of an electric brush when I travel, and since I don't travel as often, I figured going for the AAA-battery operated one would be a good choice. I've had lithium-ion batteries permanently die on me before because I neglected to regularly charge/discharge the device, so personally for me, going for the AAA-battery is the more suitable choice, as the brush will last longer and I can take the battery out in between uses. ... show more

  • It works better than the Old Sonicare(battery model)
Color: Mint Light Blue Configuration: Battery
I was very skeptical of how well it works. Compare to the old Sonicare ( bettery model), it is much quieter and the brush movement is a lot less. Also the brush is a lot softer. I took both to my dentist and asked for her opinion. She used both of them to brush my teeth. Her conclusion is that the Philips One is actually works better than the Sonicare. She said that may be the vibration frequency is more suitable for cleaning the teeth. She also told me that softer brush is better for the gum. I use the dB meter to measure the frequency. The Philips One is 188 Hz while the Sonicare is 1565Hz. ... show more

  • Great quality
Color: Sage Configuration: Rechargeable
This toothbrush may not have as many features as it's more expensive counterparts, but it works fantastic for what I need it to do, which is to brush my teeth. It may not connect to an app or anything but I don't need an app to tell me how to brush my teeth. I like this better than my first sonicare that I spent well over $100 for. ... show more

  • Long Lasting Battery
Color: Shadow Black Configuration: Rechargeable
Since the last time I charged this, I have used it for 9 months and it is still charged. It works well and the brush heads are easy to change. It is small enough and lightweight enough to easily travel with. You don't need to take the charger with you on short trips, just charge before you go.

  • Best One I’ve Tried
Color: Shimmer Configuration: Rechargeable
I’ve bought a few different styles of electric toothbrushes, but I never use them for long before returning to traditional. My usual complaint is that they’re too bulky to use and take up too much space on my counter. But I love this toothbrush. Slim, lightweight, fits in my regular counter toothbrush holder, and I don’t have to keep it on a charger. I also love that it comes with a travel case and that it has a timer on it. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great electric toothbrush
Color: Snow Configuration: Rechargeable
This was my first electric toothbrush I’ve purchased, and I love it! The only thing I did not like is that it did not come with a charger, so unless you already have a matching port charger you’ll have to buy one separately. I feel like my teeth feel cleaner and whiter after only weeks of use.

Writing this as a former dental professional. (this by no means makes me an expert) I was a huge fan of the OralB Pulsonic. It was a small, portable effective brush with all the bells and whistles of the bigger brushes. When mine finally died after 10+ years i came to find that brush was discontinued. After an exhaustive search, this was the only rechargeable portable brush i could find that i felt could be a decent replacement. It honestly was better than i expected. It was so inexpensive i feared it would be junk; it is not! The small size is perfect for my everyday and travel needs; the fact that it can be charged with a phone charger is a bonus and i love the travel case that also helps keep the brush drawer clean. More importantly, the brush head is wonderful! I was used to the round brush heads with the previous brand i used, which is pretty great at getting all the tooth surfaces. The Philip's brush heads are shaped like a regular toothbrush, but are so much softer than what i was using before. People don't realize how much damage hard bristles can do to one's gums if you aren't a gentle brusher. It's the reason other sonic brushes have a flashing red light feature to let you know when you're using too much pressure. The 2 minute timer with 30 second and one minute prompts are exactly like what i was used to as well. Been using it for close to a month now and haven't needed to recharge yet. The soft brush head is also holding up. It's not as powerful as other brushes, but unless you have a ton of plaque or stain, (no judgement) this is should do the job and is a steal for under $20 ... show more
