I have this installed on the roof of my Yamaha RMAX2 1000XTR. Installation was easy. I purchased the wiring kit and used it with a different switch. I cut off the tiny factory switch and installed it with a switch that fits my factory dash switch locations. Well, after the first trip out I have found that this low profile single row light looks great, and functions extremely well. Very bright. I mean for a 20” single row light it’s extremely bright. It’s a combination flood and spot so it lights the trail ahead perfectly and for a long distance and it also shines to the sides a little to give you light on each side of the trail. One possibly big downfall, and the reason this is a three rating, is that I purchased this light because it said it was sealed. After first ride, the next morning we got up and the light showed signs of significant moisture inside. Not a single drop of rain, just a cooler morning. Everything was covered with a thin layer of morning dew. Light still works and the moisture goes away after being on for awhile so we will see how long this light lasts knowing that it is not sealed like it says it is. I also purchased the recommended wiring harness that works with this light and it helped make the install a breeze. I wired this in the be triggered to come on with the high beams. Lights up your path very nicely! Highly recommend.
