This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I got this originally because of an upcoming abdominal surgery and I thought it would be helpful during recovery since I couldn't lay flat. I wish I would have taken it with me to the hospital because they made me stay five days. I had already been using the pillow for about two weeks before surgery and I was already in love with it! When it came in I followed the instructions to re-fluff it. I did take the covers off and washed them right away as it did have a chemical smell. I did place the pillow outside to air it out for the night. When I brought it back in the smell was gone and it was very fluffy! I used it that night and just about every night after that! It worked wonders for surgery recovery kept me in position and supported me as I wasn't allowed to sleep on my side (how I usually sleep). Two months later I still use it every night and I even took it with me on vacation for the hotel (we drove so it wasn't hard to transport). It is kinda big but in a king sized bed it doesn't intrude on my boyfriends side. I almost didn't buy this because of some of the reviews but I am sooooo glad I took the gamble! Now that I can side sleep again it makes a great "cocoon " as I always like to surround myself in pillows and now I have one big one! I would recommend this for people who have surgery or are pregnant (I wish I would have had this back when I had my kids). As you can see the pictures I included this is after I have used it everyday (except for the five I was in the hospital) so it has kept its shape and is still very fluffy. There are so many ways that you can use this pillow I took the small part off and use it when I am propped up in bed and put the other side under my legs to help me from sliding while I am working on my laptop. ... show more

Overall, I like the pillow and I’m better off having it. Pros: stays cool, good leg support, back support. Knowing during pregnancy you’re only supposed to sleep on your left side, this makes that requirement easier as it does provide good support when moved into place. Our cat loves sleeping on the pillow too? Cons: it doesn’t really hold its U shape (I often wake up having to move it into place whether between my knees or pushed against my back). I think the head rest portion is too tall - I kept getting tension headaches until I flipped it around so I now use my regular pillow for my head and neck and the U section is at my feet. Also, this pillow is HUGE. If you have a partner, you really need a king size bed. My husband doesn’t like how much room this takes in our queen size bed so I have to wake up frequently to move it out of the way. ... show more

Let me start by saying I’m very short, so some pregnancy pillows seem to just swallow me up. I’m 5ft and this pillow is perfect! I’m in love with the zip on/off part. I sometimes even just use that as a pillow on the go in the car and what not. I love the slot right above the zipper where your arm can rest, so no more arm falling asleep on me. Even if I need to roll over to the opposite side in the middle of the night it’s comfortable (without waking myself up to flip the pillow over.) The silky cooling feature is definitely a nice bonus and I love that I can take it off to wash it as well. I use it 24/7 weather I’m just lounging on the couch napping/watching tv or laying in bed every night. Being someone who always slept on my stomach, having this pillow has been a life saver. I’m in my first pregnancy and my belly hasn’t grown much so I didn’t wanna invest in something that I would just use for 2-3 months and then be done with it. However I couldn’t rest well at night and I was always waking up in the middle of the night, when I woke up my back was hurting even when I was using pillows between my legs. This is super comfy, when you pull it out of the package it is squished however i just fluffed it a bit and it was fine. However you have to be patient to not just write it off the moment its not perfect. I see a lot of reviews here complaining about it however i don't see many of them who dis their due diligence to reach out to the company first before complaining here. Id suggest if you get it and aren't happy to contact them if you aren’t satisfied and dont believe all of the people immediately jumping to horrible conclusions. There is a card it comes with telling you to let them know of you aren’t happy and from other buried reviews the company replaced the defective pillows and they were happy. Omg , I do not know where to begin , I bought the cooling grey one and it REALLY STAYS COOL !! as I am sure all of you other mothers to be are well aware, we run VERY hot ESPECIALLY at night ! Not anymore , this pillow stays cool ALL NIGHT ! Also, lest we forget the PAIN RELIEF !!!! before this purchase I would ball up a fuzzy blanket between my knees and use 5 or 6 pillows surrounding me and I COULD NOT get comfortable for the life of me , with this pillow though, it curls PERFECTLY around ALL of my problematic areas, I used to wake up with REALLY REALLY BAD shoulder pain , I no longer have that shoulder pain. Just from the very first night ! I slept like a baby (pardon the pun) my hips weren't hurting , my back felt great, and above all my belly had the support I'd been so desperately seeking with a million other pillows and blankets. I used to toss and turn the entire night in between having to get up to pee a billion times; the baby could not seem to get and stay comfortable for any longer than 30 seconds at the most. Now, I can actually get comfortable right away and STAY that way the entire night !! No pain no unbearable heat , just crazy amazing comfort and very restful sleep.
