These work perfect with this meter. Cat's blood sugar levels tend to be crazy so if they're diabetic it comes in handy to have these before giving insulin so you don't overdo it and they end up hypoglycemic. Most cats apparently react badly but mine purrs and kneads when I poke his ear with a needle. They work well, quickly and with very little blood. ... show more

    • Yes! It is about time some company gets it right!
We have gone through so many glucometers for our diabetic dog, it has been crazy! We started with iPet. That one worked so poorly, our vet took it back without any questions. We moved from there to AlphaTrak 2. This one was much more accurate (we often drove our dog to the vet to have them do a blood test to check accuracy). But unfortunately, the idiots in charge at AlphaTrak in their infinite wisdom opted to replace something that wasn't broken and forced us all to upgrade to AlphaTrak 3. Not one that likes to be told what to do, we went onto ebay to purchase AlphaTrak 2 test strips for a while. However, the cost of those pirated items quickly became CRAZY expensive. So, we were forced to use AlphaTrak 3. These readings were ALWAYS high -- not just a few points but HUNDREDS of points high. Back to the search, we read reviews and opted to try CeraPet. We got "lo" readings almost continually. When we took our dog to the vet, her numbers were in the mid 300s. So...rather than driving every day to the vet, I purchased PetTest. Oh my goodness! I feel like we can breathe again! The numbers are accurate - even within a point or two of what the vet comes up with. Testing is just as easy as every other test out there. The sanitary packaging of the test strips is brilliant AND the cost is reasonable. Thank you!!!!!!!! Update: We have been using this system now for months and the consistency we have been getting has been amazing. I cannot recommend this product enough and we have used a LOT of other brands. I have been using these for our diabetic dog for close to a year now and they're reliable, easy to use and the urgency of the delivery from Amazon is unsurpassed! This product can be very expensive from other websites, but the ease and discount of the subscription on this product is fantastic.

    • Great pet glucose testing strips, but PRICEY !!
I like the test strips. I've used similar ones with OTHER pet glucometers I owned, so am very familiar with how to use them. Unfortunately, TWO other brands of glucometers and strips ended up DISCONTINUED by their manufacturers, so I couldn't get ANY more strips. So, after reading a lot of reviews, I ended up deciding to go with PetTest, but UNFORTUNATELY, the test strips are VERY pricey--roughly .80 cents PER STRIP. I DON'T understand why glucometer manufacturers couldn't just STANDARDIZE all of them and make the strips more affordable. ... show more

I highly recommend the pet test strips. When my cat was diagnosed with diabetes, I tried various products. The pet test strips is accurate, with just small amount of blood. I have been using Pet Test products for over a year. Excellent product will not use any other. Im very pleased
