I’m a pocket-size man (5’2”) and finding a backpack that doesn’t look ridiculous on me has been a years long struggle. I just wanted a normal looking backpack that didn’t make me look like a 9 year old on his way to school. This bag fits the bill perfectly — it doesn’t look childish and it doesn’t look like a purse. The material does look a bit cheap (has a little shine to it) but the bag looks solidly built. I’m taking off one star because the zippers, as other reviewers have mentioned, are not great. They’re not terrible, but they feel a bit flimsy and I have a feeling I’ll need to replace them sooner than I’d like. Nevertheless, the bag is fine, and it’s surprisingly roomy. Here’s what I was able to fit in this bag, with room to spare: - 10.5” iPad Pro in protective sleeve - Packable windbreaker - Pouch with cables, chargers, etc. - 20,000 mAh power bank - Glasses case - Moist wipes - Pill box - Chapstick - Tissues - Hand towel - Travel size toothbrush and deodorant - Comb - Hand sanitizer - Bluetooth earbuds And like I said, there’s room to spare. I could easily fit my gloves and hat or my Nintendo Switch in it too. This thing is way roomier than it looks. I bought this for my little toddler. He's a tiny kid and weighs about 25 pounds. This backpack is perfect for him. He feels so grown up carrying his own backpack (with his diapers and wipes). The straps are the smallest possible size and don't slip off. The backpack is quite large on him still, as you can see from my photos. But it's the perfect size for what we needed it for. The backpack itself seems sturdy and easy to clean so I expect he will use this backpack for a few years. He looks so cute carrying this backpack around. It sure melts my heart! Bought this for theme park use. Does all it needs to do w/out the price tag associated with some of the other name brands out there. The great thing about it, is you can buy different colors to coordinate with Disneybounding outfits w/out worrying about how much you're spending! What I was personally looking for is something that doesn't have too many pockets in it. I bought a high end travel backpack that was compact and convertible and there were so many pockets and zippers that I could never find anything I wanted when I needed it. Because this has the dual zippers for the main compartment you could, if you wanted secure it with a suitcase lock to prevent people from unzipping in close proximity (lines, concerts). It was also soft enough that as long as I didn't fill it to the max, I kept it half full, that I could easily squish it into the pouches that are on the rides at Disneyland and California Adventure. Also, this is a junior backpack but it doesn't at all look tiny or silly on a full grown or plus sized adult. If you want to really weigh this backpack down or use it on the regular I don't see this lasting terribly long. But for occasional weekend/vacation use you should be find. Basic items I carried with me were a credit card holder, mini sunblock, lip balm, mophie battery backup, charging cords and my little makeup/emergency kit with bandaids, neosporin, tylenol, tummy medicine. The inside is lightly lined so it could probably withstand a little bit of moisture or light sprinkle. It went on 1 water ride with me and it was fine. This is a perfect sized backpack for a preschooler! We bought this for our toddler son to take on an international flight but are also planning on using it for when he starts preschool. Size: Enough space to fit a spiral-bound notebook (see photos). A standard-sized folder will also fit (I tested it) but the corners may have to bed a bit from the curved shape of the backpack. The front pocket has enough space to hold some snacks and a pencil/crayon pouch. See photo for how it compares size-wise to a SkipHop "lunchie" bag. Quality: The canvas material feels sturdy enough and is maybe a bit thinner than Jansport backpacks. The inside is coated with a waxy surface. The bottom (base) of the backpack is made of the same canvase as the rest of the backpack, just black, so it isn't reinforced. The padding on the straps is decent. The zippers (double zipper for the main compartment, which I love) feel sturdy. Overall, a decent backpack for a toddler, as long as you aren't going to load it with heavy items. The quality and straps aren't built for that. We bought it for a great price (under $10) and I think it's an adorable "adult-style" backpack for your little one, perfect for carrying a blanket, some snacks, a coloring book, crayons and toys. ... show more

I got this for my 2 year old so she could bring her things to and from daycare. She loves it! I'm not a huge fan of how kids' things are always covered in characters, so this was a great find. It fits well, is comfortable and not too heavy or bulky. For reference, she's about 35" tall in this photo.
