So I got this for my little guy. At first he'd chew it non-stop. And lay on it. Now, he uses it to handle his business. Which is what I want since it gets hot here in the summer and very, very cold in the winter. I'm glad he uses it for its purpose.

Our fur baby loved it! He preferred to roll in the "grass" than use the potty patch to relieve himself. Great in theory but puppy pads were more effective for our pups needs.

this works well as a potty training pad and it is easy to clean with how easily it comes apart BUT the artificial grass is so cheap and sucks! my pup has been able to tear out little chunks of grass and there are strands of grass all over the room, and some in his stool too :(. the back of the mat is also flakey so leaves a mess behind as well. I wish the grass was better quality and the ends were sewn or more secure so pup wouldn't be able to tear out strands of the mat. Also wish there was a way that all parts locked together so that pup could not play with the mat and take it off the tray. overall it works as a good tool but is kind of messy! ... show more

I liked how this product is lightweight, yet downside is that the layers slide around a bit which isnt terrible but could be a mess if a dog scratches trying to bury the mess. My experience went like this... Boxer dog 1 year. Sometimes potties inside when were at work so bought this as alternative. At daycare and park she peed poos on turf so thought it be great idea. It was not. I sat the carpet tray down and pointed and said potty here. She acted so embarrassed like how could i imply for her to pee and poo inside. Like thats beneath her My pup pawed and pounced and barked at it each time I encouraged her and told her potty here. I guess shes above it lol. Came home to it ripped apart and chewed on. I got 4 layer puppy pad with the hope of giving my pup a grass like potty training experience, so it would be easier for him to transition to outside toileting. While the mat works as intended. There are a few issues I have with it. 1) Not all urine seeps through the turf to the pad below causing the turf to stay wet and getting urine on my puppy’s paws. 2) When cleaning, the plastic waffle like grate and the bottom plastic platform wash and dry easily. The grass turf takes approximately 48 hours to fully dry. 3) The urine smell remains in the turf, even after soaking in Clorox antibacterial spray and a thorough rinse. The material pad is good with a non slip bottom; HOWEVER, the bottom is NOT leak proof. You can use it as a puppy pee pad, but it will not prevent the floor from getting wet. I would only recommend this item for small dogs/pups and for outside small porch/balcony use. Not the best for indoor use due to the urine smell remaining and the extensive dry time of the turf. ... show more

As long as you just let your pet find this, and not point it out? I noticed they will use it.. . I got this for my elderly mom and her small dog.. My mom lives upstairs apartment.. She pointed it out to her dog that thought maybe it was moms toy? Won't use it...
