It is about as absorbent as a light pad. Useful as a backup for a menstrual cup or a reusable pad. I would not use it on its own unless my period has ended and I still have light discharge. It does stain easily though I had to use stain remover several times and put it through about 10 wash cycles before the blood came off. In the future I would not bother. Will buy more.

Garment is good for leakage. Got size up so fit was not tight . After handwashing and wearing the second time one of the pair has a hole in it already so I can’t wear that pair. Hoping the other pairs hold up better UPDATE: Great customer service. Will be ordering again from this company. Highly recommend them.
