  • Great subscription, great magazine.
This is a review not just on the magazine, but also on the Kindle subscription. There were some earlier reviews that had comments saying there were problems with their subscriptions. I believe that whatever those problems were, they have been resolved. My magazine arrives every week on time within a one-hour time frame. Well done! I started picking up People magazine during some recent times of protracted medical issues. Concentrating on reading a book was more than I could do for more than a few minutes at a time. Reading through People Magazine didn't require studying or remembering, and I loved to look at the photos. What is most lovely, is the positiveness of the articles. I looked at the other "entertainment" type of magazines and found they were overwhelmingly negative, critical and just a tone of tearing people down. People Magazine doesn't do that. I found as I read through the articles week after week, that I actually began to see celebrities as people. I could look beyond the (what I consider) scandalous wardrobes, which always gave me a negative view of them, and see the culture (and its requirements) that these folks are part of. Reading People Magazine, I saw the "ordinary" persons behind the "glamour" - people that had children and families, pets and so forth. People Magazine treats people in an even-handed and fair way. One doesn't feel angry or upset, irritable or anxious, as can happen when you read news sources or even other entertainment sources. I feel generally cheerful. In today's world, I think that is high praise for a magazine! ... show more

  • It was goodfor one copy
I did not recognize half of the people in the magazine maybe it's because of my age I am 34 after all but I did not like not knowing who those people were or why the magazine was writing about them

  • With the ability to buy and read this on the Kindle, no paper is wasted.
What can I say, except that my wife has been reading and enjoying People Magazine for MANY years now. With the Kindle edition, we don't have to throw out the paper magazines after they are read. Actually we put them in the recyclables, but less trees are cut down this way.

  • Technical Issue
I have contacted Amazon numerous times regarding People Magazine. I could not view the issues on Kindle. No one could help me. One person tried to help me told me to unsubscribe and subscribe. I was paying $5 per month before unsubscribing it. I am now paying $10 and I can't even read it from Kindle. I had to get Samsung Tablet to be able to read it. ... show more

  • People Magazine Rocks
I really enjoy reading the stories in this magazine. Whenever I travelled, I always picked it up in the airport to read while waiting for connecting flights. I especially enjoy preparing some of the Christmas and Thanksgiving recipes

  • If does not download completely, clear your download cache
Update: December 19 - if does not download completely, clear your download cache and remove the magazine from your Kindle. Then download again. Works perfectly now. See this link on how to clear the cache: https://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clear-your-cache-for-kindle-devices/ Previous complaint: Cannot download some sections ("Movies, "Style Tracks", "Ruffino Adoption"). It says "Waiting to Download" forever on those sections. The rest of the magazine works OK. I would recommend the printed version of this magazine. ... show more

For years I’ve been reading People Magazine, receiving it every week in the mail . I decided to try it online with a subscription with Amazon which was the best value. I love it and won’t ever get the hard copy again.
