It did get very cold and the boots offered no warmth at all, my toes were freezing. The boots are cute and do the job of keeping your feet dry. They do run a little small. Wore these once in rain and walking through puddles with no issues. I ordered the 7-7.5 size (I am a size 7) as listed but actually came with size 6.5-7 stamped on them. They are a bit snug as I like to wear thicker socks with boots. I was standing in them for about 3 hours and found them just a bit tight at the toes.
