These solved a huge problem in my little biz - having an easy way to quickly identify anything related to a client project. All customers have a red file folder (with the lighter inside color of these making it easy to write ID# and name with an ultra-fine-point Sharpie, and not need labels). Red scratchpads are dedicated to notes associated with projects, red Post-Its are used to identify associated items... and all client "stuff" goes into labeled red plastic bins. In our small messy lab, this really simplifies things. If it is red, it is associated with a client. I know color-coding is obvious to anyone running an office, but these folders work beautifully and are musch less hassle than hanging files that need tags. These Pendaflex file folders are not quite up to standard, but they cost less than the other colors so I don't mind. I ordered the pink two-tone folders, and at the time I purchased them they were the most affordable of all the colors listed and quite a bit less than some of the colors. The color quality is good. None of them are faded or discolored in any way, and I love the two-tone appearance in my office. The folders are the same strength as ones I've purchased in the past, and they have the scored lines at the bottom that let you adjust how much paper will fit in them. The problem is with the way they were cut. Many of the folders have rough looking edges like the way your paper looks when you cut it with a dull paper trimmer. Some of them also have extra pieces stuck to them that weren't completely cut off when rounding the corners. I've been able to pull them off with ease. The folders are still fully functional and were sold cheaper than other folders, so I only took off one star. The folders look great in my office, and luckily the rough edges don't show because they are in hanging files anyway. If you found this review helpful, please click the Helpful or Yes button.
