I like to present my reviews in Pros, Cons, and then overall summary. First though I need to give QUICK background so you can gauge whether your purpose for the shoe matches mine. Background I bought these to play basketball. I usually wear Adidas Damian Lillard branded shoes "Go Weber State", but the funds weren't there this time around. I ONLY play basketball in these, but I did wear them around for about 5 hours on the first day to break them in before playing. PROS - The quality is quite nice. They do not feel cheap. - The look is spot on. I received a lot of compliments from those I play ball with and strangers. - The price is fair. - They provide a lot of support at the ankle. - They tie up nicely with as firm feel, without cutting off circulation. - I wear a size 10 and I ordered a size 10 and they fit like a size 10. CONS - The cushioning is not that great. They feel a little hard when first worn and I will likely buy an insole for them. - The sole was not very tacky on the court during the first wear. I actually had to go rub the sole of the show on the carpet for a minute to make them grip a little better. They may have had some kind of film or something on them that needed to wear down a bit. They began to grip better after that. - They are not heavy shoes, but they are not as light as some other reviews have suggested. Average weight for a pair of basketball shoes. Overall Summary These are good shoes. If my normal Adidas shoes were 5-stars (which is what I am comparing them against), then these are a solid 4. Because of price, I would rank them a 4.5, but that isn't an option for this review. That rating may seem unfair, but I think if you play basketball then you will know what I am talking about. If you just want to wear these around as a good looking pair of sneakers, then they are 5 stars. Anyway, I think you will like these shoes and I may love them after I get an insole for them... which will still be about 1/2 of what I would have spent on the newer Dame 7s I like. ... show more

I was in the market for a pair of basketball shoes that I could use for playing on outdoor basketball courts and possibly use for tennis(if they fit and provided the stability for that) when playing casual matches. I would wear dedicated Tennis shoes for a league or aggressive tennis match. I normally wear Kobe’s in size 7 for indoor basketball and volleyball. I’m really a 6.5 but have a slightly wide forefoot so 90%!of the time I just wear size 7 athletic shoes. For wise, the size 7 fits perfect. I replaced the insole with a Sof Sole Insert from Amazon as I do with most athletic shoes. The Sof Sole insert is thicker and provides greater cushion and support than the stock insert. So today I went to meet a friend to play tennis this morning and decided to try the new shoes. To put it mildly, I was extremely happy to see that they are incredibly comfortable to play tennis in. The traction is great, the lateral stability is great, they are lightweight compared to my Babolat Propulse Tennis shoes. I rely on speed and agility in my sports. I’m not big/tall but am quick and coordinated. In younger days could run the 40 in 4.2 seconds. Still quick and agile for my age. Are they the equivalent of say my Kobe’s? No, but close. The Kobe’s feel a little more quicker/efficient and laterally stiffer as a shoe and more stabile. The Peak’s feel better to my feet though comfort and impact wise though. Also, I should note that even though I know and acknowledge that the Peaks aren’t as stiff, lateral supportive or efficient in transferring energy to move on, especially on the first few steps, it didn’t matter in reality. It’s not like I was thinking damn I feel like I’m slow or can’t get to the ball and do the footwork to address the ball correctly. I am very pleased with these shoes, unlike other athletic shoes,‘I could play without any foot discomfort of breaking in new shoes, hot spots/blisters which is quite a pleasant surprise for me. As such I plan to purchase some more pairs in other colors. For the price point, performance and comfort(with the Sof Sole Insert), it can’t be beat! ... show more

We have had these for 8 months. My 11-year old just said this morning they were the best basketball shoes he has ever worn, and would want another pair when these wear out. They are supportive and durable. He uses them for pickleball, too. Highly recommend!

Nice looking shoe but I think it is a tad wider then other brands I have previously purchased. I like that they are light. I wish there were more cushion because there's a drop off from the New balance I had which provided what I think was a really good cushion and easier on my aging knees. These are decent but I kind of feel like I've got about as much cushion as if I were playing in my sandals. Since I'm not a competitive player as long as the bottoms hold up well I'll be content because I do appreciate the ankle support and the lightweight.
