*Purchased as an everyday carry for IT work - not for camera equipment - I wanted the extra space so I don't use the adjustable partition things. Really nice build quality. Good Attention to detail. Great shoulder strap - great build and super easy to adjust. ***This bag is on the small side - I am currently using it with a 14" Dell 5420 laptop and it is tight fit - i cannot imagine getting anything larger in it. Although a tablet would work great.

I owned the original v1 bag however it was unfortunately stolen. I replaced it with this version that I have just received a it is inferior in quality and design in every aspect to the original. it is very apparent they have cut a lot of corners to produce a lower cost item with better margin. I am very disappointed, I hope they return to the brand I originally loved however until then I am returning this bag.

I cannot remember when I actually purchased my Everyday Messenger Bag V1, but I can no longer use it because the material on the sling has deteriorated to the point of rubbing off on my work clothes and staining them permanently. The material connecting the hardware to the sling has also deteriorated to the point of almost ripping. Months of email messages back and forth and now the company has gone silent.

This is a very stylish bag, but I feel like a lot of poor design decisions were made in favor of cost cutting. Here's a few differences I noticed between v1 and v2: 1. There's no 15 inch option. Strange choice, given that the Everyday Sling already covers the 13 inch tier. 2. No side pockets. The side pockets on the v1 weren't amazing, but they were at least something. I am not a fan of putting side pockets inside the bag and potentially leaking condensation into electronics. Yikes. 3. Virtually no pocket space. This is a pretty big deal breaker for me. v1 had a rather large pocket for things like eReaders, passports, etc. v2 has a small pocket for memory cards and nothing else. Not sure what they were thinking here, but I definitely can't fit my eReader or passport into v2 of this bag. Thus, it cannot be used as a travel bag. 4. The quality of the strap was downgraded from metal to plastic hinges. Not a big deal, but whatever silver paint they use will eventually rub off. I would rather pay the extra dollar it takes to have metal hinges. If I were to redesign this bag, I would address all 4 of these points. This is a messenger bag, not a sling. If I wanted a sling, I would have purchased a sling. If PD makes a V3 addressing all of these points, I would easily 5-star this product. Beautiful bag, but it still needs work.
